CTMH Australasian Slimline Celebration Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Australasian Slimline Celebration Blog Hop. If you arrived from Shaunna's Passionate About Pages blog you are in the right place. This collection was created to help us celebration National Stamping Month! The Slimline Celebration collection is available till the end of October, WSL! So far, I have created these cards using this collection. The first one was inspired by one in the workshop - available to download from my website here. 

To create this card I used Harbour, Lagoon & White Daisy cardstock, CC9217 - Fishy Greetings stamp & thin cuts, Black Memento ink pad & Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers.

But this collection is not just suitable for Slimline cards! It can also be used for standard sized cards. For this card, I was inspired by card by fellow CTMH Maker, Miss Carrie's Creations. It was created using Mulberry & White Daisy cardstock, As You Grow paper pack, CC9215 - Mini Garden Gnomes stamp & thin cuts, CC9212 - Thoughtful Critters stamp & thin cuts (for sentiment), Black Memento ink pad, Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers &  Z4106 - Buildable Tags Thin Cuts. 

And my final card was created for my hubby for his birthday this past week. I used Glacier, Harbour & White Daisy cardstock, As You Grow paper pack, Z5035 - Cupcake Card Thin Cuts, CC9215 - Mini Garden Gnomes stamp & thin cuts, CC9216 - Thoughtful Critters stamp & thin cuts (for sentiment), Black Memento ink pad[ & Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers. Isn't this Cupcake  Card just the best! It measures about 4" x 5.25" finished, so will fit in a standard envelope.

Celebrate Autumn Colours with the Pumpkin Spice Collection

Unfortunately, I missed the Pumpkin Spice blog hop with fellow CTMH Makers last week as I had to have a minor medical procedure and wasn't organised enough. So I am going to share my projects using the Pumpkin Spice collection with you today. 

These are all projects I created (and adapted) from our recent Virtual Convention, launching the NEW annual and Seasonal catalogues.

On this first layout, I added extra photos and used it for my photo a day pics. This layout features some of the NEW cardstock colours - Harbour ( a new favourite of mine), Papya & Shortbread. 

This second layout was perfect for some pics of a recent trip we took to Kyneton in Victoria just before the current lock down. It was a cold wintery day, but the paper with the sweaters is perfect. I still need to add my journalling and some embellishments, but I love how it is heading.  

I used a variety of stamp sets for the sentiments and embellishments on my cards.  And check out the gorgeous wood stickers that are a part of the Pumpkin Spice collection.

S2109 - Grateful for this Life CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

 

Hi and welcome to our S2109 - Grateful for this Life CTMH Australasian Blog Hop. If you arrived from Danielle's Scrappy Chicks blog, you are on the right track. If this is your starting point, I hope you will continue on our blog hop to see what the other ladies have created.

When I saw the NEW September - October catalogue (it is live today), I loved the layout on page 24 so, of course, I had to recreate it. 

I used some left over papers from another project using the NEW As You Grow collection from the NEW Annual catalogue (also live today). To create my version of the page, I traced an 8.5" circle onto the centre of my page using a template I had on my desk (you could use a plate), then I cut strips of paper and in widths of between 1/2" and 1.25" into lengths of between 1.5" & 2.5". (I think there were about 60 strips used). Then, using the circle as a guide, I laid the strips around the page and adhered once I was happy with colour and pattern placement - I wasn't too fussy. I stamped 'Thankful' on NEW Harbour cardstock using Versamark ink and White Embossing powder.  Then, using Black stamp pad, I stamped the other sentiments on White Daisy cardstock - 3/4" wide and long enough for the sentiment. I then used a Black Journalling Pen to doodle around each sentiment and around the White Daisy base.  All the sentiments and title were added to the page using 3D Foam Tape to add some dimension.  The photo mat is also from the NEW Harbour cardstock - this is going to be a favourite of mine! Now I just need to get a photo of my family to add to the page!

Isabella - featured collection for August

 Hi and thank you for popping by my blog today!

This month, the CTMH featured collection is Isabella. I love the summery colours of this collection, but haven't created much with it yet!

Some of the projects I have created are pictured below. 

This gift topper was inspired by an idea shared by fellow CTMH Maker, Andrea Sherman. It was created using the Scalloped Circle Thin Cuts, Small Bow Thin Cuts & Stitched Circle Thin Cuts (retired). This was so much fun to create!

This card was created using the Isabella Cricut Collection with Bluebird, Carolina & White Daisy cardstock. 

For this Lip Balm box, I was inspired by an idea shared by Stamping with Marsha. This was created using Lemonade, Bluebird & White Daisy cardstock with Isabella paper and the Isabella Cricut collection. I finished it off with some Silver Embellishing Thread.

These Hand Sanitiser holders were created using Carolina, Bluebird, Lemonade & White Daisy cardstock. I added Isabella paper to the front and finished it with White & Gold Ribbon. 

For this card I used Blue Belle & White Daisy cardstock, Isabella paper pack, Silver Shimmer Trim, Stitched Brackets Thin Cuts, Z3963 - Isabella Scrapbooking Stamp & Thin Cuts, C1900 - Isabella cardmaking stamp set, Simple Serif Uppercase Thin Cuts, Blue Belle, Lemonade & Sage ink pads & Blue Belle Loose Sequins. 

This card was made using Blue Bell & White Daisy cardstock, Isabella paper pack, C1900 - Isabella Cardmaking stamp set, Simple Serif Uppercase Thin Cuts, Lemonade Shimmer Trim & Blue Belle Pearls.

Blue Belle & White Daisy cardstock, Blue Belle Glitter paper, Z3963 - Isabella Scrapbooking Stamp & Thin Cuts, C1900 - Isabella Cardmaking stamp set, Blue Belle ink pad, Versamark ink pad, White Embossing Powder & Blue Belle Pearls.

Blue Belle & White Daisy cardstock, Blue Belle Glitter paper, Z3963 - Isabella Scrapbooking Stamp & Thin Cuts, C1900 - Isabella Cardmaking stamp set, Blue Belle ink pad, Versamark ink pad & White Embossing Powder.

I have used Blue Belle on the last 4 cards as it is the retiring colour of the year and one of my favourites.

What's happening in August?

The year is just slipping away! And there don't seem to be enough hours in the day.

CTMH Wander Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Wander Australian Blog Hop. If you arrived from Dannii's Scrappy Chicks blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened by, thank you for stopping by. I hope you will continue on our blog hop to see what the others have created using this collection.

This first layout is inspired by one of the layouts from the May CTMH Album Retreat. I added some linen & sage cardstock to the Wander paper pack. The stamped images are from the Wander scrapbooking stamp & thin cuts set (Z3964). First I blended Antique Linen, Chipped Sapphire & Peeled Paint Distress Oxides to create a background, then stamped the images using Intense Black and Sapphire ink pads.  The stamped border is from the Wander cardmaking stamp & thin cuts set (Z3959), stamped with Sage ink. 

For my second layout, I added the floral element using one of the stencils from CTMH Stencil Pack 1 and Antique Linen Distress Oxides. The leaves were cut using the Layered Leaves thin cuts and the title was cut using the CTMH Block Alphabet Thin cuts in Peacock & Sage.  I added a little more colour to the pages by flicking some Peacock Shimmer Brush before adding my photos.

This layout is ready to add some pics from our next adventure. It is inspired by Pattern 15 of MIFYH Vol 5. I added Peacock & Sage cardstock to the Wander paper pack. There is room for lots of photos on this layout. I will add embellishments once I have added my pics. 

To create this card, I used White Daisy, Sage, Sapphire & Sundance cardstock with Wander paper. The sentiment and stars are from Z3965 - Chillin' with My Gnomies stamp & thin cuts set and stamped with Sapphire ink. The circles were cut using the Stitched Circles Thin Cuts (retired).
