Pizza Box and Gift Cards

I had so much fun creating the cards using the Springtime Wishes Stamp Set & masking technique, that I wanted to make some more. So this time, I made a set of 3" x 3" cards and a pizza box to put them in. I was inspired by fellow Vicki Wizniuk to create the pizza box and Wendy Coffman for the cards.

To finish off, I made some little envelopes for the cards. I am really happy with the end result.

Happy Australia Day

Where has January 2016 gone? It is Australia Day already! Once again, I was inspired by a card that Wendy Coffman shared to create this layout for our Australia Day photos. Wendy's card (you can see it by clicking on the link - her name), was created using flowers from the Springtime Wishes (C1641) Stamp Set, but I used the kangaroo, koala, emu & kookaburra from the Australian Salutations (C1585) stamp set, along with the map of Australia from the Australia (M1062) stamp set. I teamed these stamps with Whisper, Slate, Desert Sand, Pomegranate & Sapphire Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads and the Regatta Paper Collection. I cut the title on the Cricut using the font from the Artistry Cricut Cartridge. 

I can't wait to get my photos printed and onto these pages now. Once the photos are on the page, I will embellish it.

Springtime Wishes

One of my favourite stamp sets in the NEW Seasonal Expressions that was released on 1st January, is Springtime Wishes (C1641). There is also a set of Thin Cuts to coordinate with this stamp set. In my previous post, I shared a page layout created using the stamp set and Thin Cuts together. Below are 3 cards featuring just the stamp set. These cards were inspired by a card by Wendy Coffman.

I love the simplicity of this card created using Colonial White Cards, Black Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad & a Black Journalling Pen. 

I wondered what the card would look like if I used some colour, so chose Sunset, Goldrush, Saffron & Fern Exclusive Inks Stamp Pads along with the Black. for the sentiment, I used Beloved Bouquet (S1601). For this one I left the pen lines off - the jury is still out on whether I like it or not.

Then I created a third card using shades of purple for my sister-in-law. The stamp pads used were Eggpland, Gypsy, Thistle, Fern & Black. I added the pen lines to this one again.

Charlotte meets Springtime Thin Cuts

I LOVE the NEW Charlotte collection from Close To My Heart! And last weekend I spent a crafty weekend with some friends, where I shared this layout with them using Charlotte & the NEW Springtime Stamp Set and Thin Cuts.

Beloved Bouquet - January Stamp of the Month

I have had a bit of a play with this stamp set in the last few days and below are some of my projects created.

This card, like many, was inspired by cards seen on Pinterest and a card by Denise Tarlington.

I used Black, Lagoon, Peacock & Sapphire Exclusive Inks  Stamp Pads. I love the simplicity of this card. 

This cards was also inspired by a card from Pinterest. I love how this stamp set gives the option to create images that two toned using two step stamping. I used Glacier & Crystal Blue Exclusive Inks stamp pads for the flower and Sweet Leaf & Pear Exclusive Inks stamp pads for the leaves. The sentiment is stamped using the Desert Sand Exclusive Inks stamp pad.

For this card, I used Poppy Exclusive Inks stamp pad for the base of the flower and Pear Exclusive Inks stamp pad for the base of the leaves then I heat embossed the top layer using Versamark ink and White Embossing powder. I finished the card off with a strip of paper from the La Vie En Rose paper pack and a strip of the NEW Black & Gold Ribbon.
