more Christmas projects

It is hard to believe that Christmas is now less than 2 months away! I have been busy creating all sorts of Christmas projects for the last few weeks.

Here are some more of my projects.

The Christmas village was created from the Season of Joy Digital Cricut collection available in the current Holiday Expressions catalogue. These cute buildings are up to 12" tall and will look fabulous on the mantle with battery operated tea light candles in them. The window are vellum so the light will shine through!

This cute Santa's head comes off to create a box for filling with goodies! He is nice and tall too! Santa has two friends available on the cartridge too - an elf girl and an elf boy!

This Christmas Sampler would look great in a frame on the wall or as the front page of your Christmas album. I created this using images from the Season of Joy Digital Cricut collection as well as Flower Market Cricut cartridge, You Are Here Cricut cartridge, Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge & Artistry Cricut cartridge along with Candy Apple, Fern, Espresso & White Daisy cardstock, Silver Glitter Paper, 'Tis the Season Paper Pack, Clear Shimmer Brush, Red Shimmer Brush, Bitty sparkles, Red Gems, Fern & Candy Apple re-inkers & Spray Pen.

For this sampler, I used Black, Pebble & White Daisy cardstock, Silver Glitter Paper, Artbooking Cricut Cartridge, Artistry Cricut Cartridge & Gold Shimmer Pen. I created a template of random stars on the Cricut machine then with the Gold Shimmer Brush, added the stars to the page.

I will be sharing more Christmas projects over the coming weeks, so make sure you check back to see what I have been creating and what is NEW.

Christmas is coming!

I am having lots of fun creating Christmas cards and gifts ready for upcoming events, markets and for friends and family!

These are some of my favourites so far! But it was hard to narrow it down!

These little gift bags are perfect for gift cards. They are based on an idea seen on Pinterest by Linda Heller

This cute little bow is great for a little decoration on your gifts!

I adapted a treat holder by Liz Johnson to create this one - perfect for the children's class mates or a small fun gift for co-workers, just to name a couple

I used two of the tags from our NEW Fancy Tags Thin Cuts to create this simple tags with Raspberry, Carolina, Candy Apple, Sugarplum & Lilac cardstock teamed with White Daisy.

These simple little sticky note holders with a calendar are handy to have by the phone or computer on any desk and make a great gift for teachers, co-workers, friends and family

The NEW Shaker Cards Thin Cuts set teamed with the Shaker Foam & Acetate sets are perfect for creating these fun shaker elements. They can be added to cards or made into a perfect Christmas ornament by attaching some ribbon or twine to them.

This card was inspired by one on page 70 of the Holiday Expressions.

This card was inspired by one shared by Michelle Johns using the October Stamp of the Month - S1810 (Thanks & Giving) which is available for this month (October 2018) only
If you would like to make any of these projects, you are welcome to book into my upcoming workshops. Booking details are available on the events page of this blog!

Come back again soon and check out what I have been creating & what is NEW!

Grateful Heart CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to the Grateful Heart CTMH Australasian Blog Hop. If you arrived from Shaunna's blog, I pleased you stopped by. If you happened upon my blog accidentally, thank you for stopping by. I hope you will hop around all the blogs to see what everyone has created using the gorgeous Grateful Heart collection!

You may have seen some of my projects already as I accidentally shared them on Facecbook before this blog hop went live. I have you will still enjoy them!

I haven't printed my photos yet, but will get that done soon!

This layout was inspired by one shown on the top of your CTMH consultant's web page as part of the Marquee messages that scroll through. I used Saffron & White Daisy cardstock, Grateful Heart Bulk Paper, S1810 - Thanks & Grateful stamp set, Fern, Pomegranate, Saffron & Sapphire ink pads, Fern Stitched Ribbon to create it.

Recently, I attended an Album Retreat for consultants hosted by CTMH. We completed an album and along the way learnt lots of techniques.
The flowers and leaves on this project were painted using ink squeezed into the lid of the ink pad with a small paint brush and small amount of water!  The wash behind the heart was also created using ink but this time with a larger paint brush!

My second layout was inspired by one we created at the album retreat. I used White Daisy, Sapphire & Saffron cardstock, Grateful Heart Bulk Paper, Stitched Circles Thin Cuts, Decorative Borders Thin cuts, D1798 - beautiful Soul Stamp Set, Saffron & Sapphire Ink Pads, Blue Burlap Ribbon, Large Paint Brush.

I used the same colour wash method behind the title on this page as the previous one. The stamp set used on this layout is the current Operation Smile stamp set, with $US7.00 from each stamp set going to Operation Smile to help fix smiles all around the world! You can get your stamp set from your consultant today, or if you don't have a consultant, you can get your stamp set here!
The new Decorative Borders Thin Cuts make it so easy to add a little something extra to your layouts!
This card was created using Pomegranate, Sapphire & White Daisy simple, Grateful Heart paper, C1730 - Just a Little Something stamp set, Pomegranate & Sapphire Ink Pads, Black & White Dots, Thin 3D Foam Tape, Basic Circles Thin Cuts, Stitched Circles Thin Cuts. This card would be a fabulous masculine card!

For my second card, I used Pomegranate, Sapphire & White Daisy cardstock, Grateful Heart paper pack, Basic Circles Thin Cuts, Stitched Circles Thin Cuts, Decorative Borders Thin Cuts,  M1210 - Mini Birthday Party Hat Stamp Set, Sapphire Ink Pad, Blue Burlap Ribbon, 3D Foam Tape. I love using the Fringe border from the Decorative Borders Thin Cuts to create little tassels to add to my projects!

You can get your Grateful Heart collection from your consultant. If you don't have a consultant, I would love to help you! You can contact me here!

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue around our Blog Hop to see what Lara has created!

Please come back again soon to see what is NEW and what I have been creating!

Hello Pumpkin CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our Hello Pumpkin CTMH Australasian Blog Hop. If you have arrived from Lauren's blog, thank you for stopping by. If you arrived by accident, I hope you will continue to hop around our Hello Pumpkin blog hop!

Hello Pumpkin is designed as a Halloween collection, but there is so much more that can be done with it!
This layout is a non Halloween version of a workshop layout from fellow consultant, Tina Lovell. I love that I could make it my own by changing the paper slightly and using a different stamp set.

This layout features Lagoon, Nectarine & Black cardstock with the black & white striped paper from the Hello Pumpkin paper pack. I used the NEW D1798 - Beautiful Soul stamp set with $US7.00 from the sale of each stamp set going to Operation Smile!

Of course, I made a couple of cards using this paper pack too! This first card was inspired by a card be fellow consultant Tina Lovell. I added Mint Cardstock and coloured some of the stars with the NEW Mint Shimmer Brush to coordinate. The sentiment is from B1614 - Epic Birthday Stamp Set (from the Epic Birthday Workshop your Way kit), with Mint & Black Ink Pads. The circles were cut using the Basic Circles & Stitched Circles Thin Cuts. I finished the card with some clear sparkles.

The second card uses the same paper, but I added stars cut with the Basic Stars Thin Cuts from White Daisy & Nectarine cardstock and Silver Glitter Paper (it does look gold in the pic, but it is silver!) The sentiment was stamped using a favourite retired stamp set - B1590 - A Slice of Happy. I raised some of the stars using 3D Foam Tape.

I would love you to leave a comment before continuing along the blog hop to see what Doris has created.

Come back again soon and see what is NEW and what I have been creating.

S1810 - Thanks & Giving SoM CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our S1810 - Thanks & Giving Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop! If you arrived from Lauren's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived here by accident, then I hope you will hop around all the blogs to see what has been created using our October Stamp of the Month - Thanks & Giving!

I haven't had time to print my photos for this layout, but I can't wait to add them! This layout was inspired by the idea on page 34 of the NEW Colour Your Life Idea Book and is based on Pattern 2, Volume 2, Make It From Your Heart Idea Book.
To create it, I used Pomegranate, Sapphire & White Daisy Cardstock, Grateful Heart Bulk Paper, S1810 - Thanks & Giving stamp set, Fern, Pomegranate, Saffron & Sapphire ink pads, White Twine, Bitty Sparkles, 3D Foam Tape & Glue Dots.

This simple card was created using scraps that were sitting on my desk! I used Pomegranate, Sapphire & White Daisy Cardstock, S1810 - Thanks & Giving stamp set, Black ink pad, NEW Decorative Borders Thin Cuts, Clear Sparkles & mini staples.

And this is my favourite of these projects! I love that I was able to create a Christmas card with this stamp set!
To create this card, I used Candy Apple & White Daisy cardstock, 'Tis the Season paper pack, S1810 - Thanks & Giving Stamp Set, Z4240 - Oh What Fun stamp & Thin Cuts set (for the sentiment), Candy Apple & Fern ink pads, White & Gold Ribbon, Carmine Shin Han Marker - to colour the ribbon, Fancy Tags Thin Cuts, Watercolour Pencils, Thin 3D Foam Tape, 3D Foam Tape, Glue Dots.
I couldn't find the right coloured or width ribbon, so coloured the White & Gold Ribbon with the marker to get the right colour. If you plan to do this, remember to allow time for the ink to dry before you use it!

The October Stamp of the Month - S1810 - Thanks & Giving is only available this month (October 2018)! You can get the stamp set for just $8.25 by placing an order of $82.50 or more with your consultant or you can purchase it for $29.50. If you don't already have a consultant, you can contact me or make your purchase here!

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on our Blog Hop to see what Doris has created.

Come back again soon to see what is new and what I have been creating.
