Backyard Bliss - August Featured Collection and more!

Today is workshop day for me, so I can now share the projects I'm sharing along with some more creations I have made using Backyard Bliss - the CTMH featured collection for August! I have had fun creating with this collection. 

These first 3 layouts are very simple - just using paper from the Backyard Bliss pack and some coordinating cardstock. These pages feature my June Photo a Day pics, so I tend not to add any or many embellishments on these pages. Often my pages for these pics use just scraps left over from other projects. But I love to get the photos printed at the end of each month and onto layouts.

This layout was inspired by the one on page 19 of the NEW Annual catalogue, now available - only I created a double page layout. For this layout, I used Backyard Bliss paper, with White Daisy, Sapphire, Mist, Shortbread, Sage & Papaya cardstock. The stamped flowers are from D2122 - Floral Sentiments stamp set, the die cut leaves are from Z4654 - Sprigs & Leaves thin cuts, the stamp pads used were Papaya, Honey Butter, Sundance, Pine, Sage, Periwinkle & Sapphire, and the title is from the NEW Moments Digital Art. I can't wait to get my photos printed and onto this page.

This card was created using White Daisy, Candy Apple, New England Ivy & Sage cardstock, Backyard Bliss Digital Collection, Antique Linen Distress Oxides, Clear & Toffee Shimmer Brushes, Z8029 - Backyard Bliss cardmaking stamp & thin cuts (for sentiment), Black ink pad.

For this card I used Black & White Daisy cardstock, CM004 - Backyard Bliss cardmaking stamp & thin cuts, Intense Black ink pad, Shimmer Brushes - Toffee, Lemonade, Peach, Wisteria, Wild Berry, Avocado, Julep, CC3228 - Many Wishes stamp set, Black ink pad, Vintage Photo Distress Oxides with brick stencil, Clear Sparkles.

And this card was created using White Daisy cardstock, Backyard Bliss paper pack, CM004 - Backyard Bliss Cardmaking workshop stamp & thin cuts, M1307 - Mini Greetings - Birthday stamp set, Intense Black ink pad, Shimmer Brushes - Toffee, Espresso, Lemonade, Peach, Wisteria, Wild Berry, Avocado, Julep, Olive Green Le Pen.

 For this fun card, I used White Daisy & Lemonade cardstock, Z8037 - On The Farm stamp & thin cuts, Tutti Frutti & Backyard Bliss paper, Black Memento ink pad,Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers, Circle Thin Cut, CC3228 - Many Wishes stamp set (retired).

Welcome to August & a NEW Annual catalogue

 

Welcome to a new month and a brand NEW Annual catalogue! I am very excited with this new catalogue - there are so many fabulous NEW products and many others continuing from the previous one - which is actually still live for another month. You can find a digital copy of this catalogue on my website here! 

The August stamp of the month is fabulous for recognising our teachers and other learning support people. I am sure you will be able to find many reasons to use this stamp set! So far I have made a couple of cards using it, but know I will be using it lots more!

This card was created using White Daisy & Sapphire cardstock, with paper from the NEW Celebrating You collection. I coloured the image using Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers and finished off the card with some Silver Embellishing Thread.

For my second card, I used Mocha & White Daisy cardstock with paper from the Beach Party & Jul - Sep Mix In papers. For this card I coloured the image using Shimmer Brushes.  

This stamp set - S2208 - Teach Love Inspire is available from 1st to 31st August 2022 for just $9.00 with a qualifying order or for FREE with a qualifying order if you are a VIP, or you can purchase it for $34.00! 

In case you missed it earlier, the retiring cardstock and ink colours from the 2021 - 2022 catalogue are: New England Ivy, Carolina, Mint, Wild Berry, Cinnamon & Sangria. These ink pads, re-inkers and cardstock colours are available strictly WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! So don't delay getting yours!

The NEW cardstock & ink colours are: Pine, Mist, Seabrook, Periwinkle, Honey Butter & Melon - the Colour of the Year for 2022 - 2023!

 The NEW colour of the year is MELON! I think it is a beautiful colour and can see it being used lots in the coming year! It is available in Cardstock, Ink Pad & Re-Inker ,Glitter Paper,  Dots, Pearls, Flowers, Shimmer Brush, Loose Sequins, Ribbon & Shimmer Tape.
