CTMH Australasian In Full Bloom Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Australasian In Full Bloom blog hop. If you came from Alison's blog - Scissors Paper Heart, you are in the right place. If not, I hope you will continue on our blog hop to see what the other participants have created using this collection.

This collection has been very popular and I have enjoyed creating with it! These are just some of my projects!

The left page of this layout was inspired by the one on p14 of the March-April catalogue. It was created using Avocado, Glacier & White  Daisy cardstock, In Full Bloom paper & stickers, In Full Bloom Die Cuts. I added some Glacier ink on the page under some of the elements to add that little something!

This layout is from one of the NSD workshops available now. It was created using White Daisy, Lagoon, Avocado & Glacier cardstock. I added some Black Shimmer trim to my page.

This box in the shape of the Letter 'M' was created from a file I got from Jennifer Maker. It was fun to make and will be great to fill with some goodies for Mother's Day.

The In Full Bloom collection is available till the end of April '22 WSL. You don't want to miss out, so make sure you contact your CTMH Maker. If you don't have a Maker & live in Australia, you can contact me here! I would love to help you. Don't forget to check out all the specials available now - including the one I used to create the 2nd layout I shared.

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on to see what Dannii of Scrappy Chicks has created using the In Full Bloom collection.

Stay safe & well!

Happy papercrafting!

S2204 - Message in a Bottle Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our S2204 - Message in a Bottle Australasian Blog Hop. If you arrived from Doris' blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened by, thank you for stopping. I hope you will continue on our blog hop to see what the others have created using this fabulous stamp set. Both of the cards I am sharing are quite simple, but I do love this stamp set and know I will use it lots.
For this first card, I stamped the bottles using Black Memento ink and the corks in Toffee ink. I coloured the stars in the tall bottles using Lemonade Shimmer Brush. For the middle bottle, I stamped the heart in Versamark Ink and used Gold Embossing Powder. I used Gold Embellishing Thread to 'hang' the bottles, which were added using Thin 3D Foam Tape.

For my second card, the bottle & cork & sentiment are stamped the same as the first card. I added some shimmer to the card under the bottle using the Gold Shimmer Brush. The bottle was added using Thin 3D Foam Tape.  I finished off the card using a Journalling Pen to add 'stitch' lines around the edge.

The April Stamp of the Month - Message in a Bottle (S2204) is available till the end of April 2022 only. You can get it for just $9.00 with a qualifying order, or for FREE if you are a VIP with a qualifying order. Or you can purchase it for $34.00. You can get the details from your CTMH Maker. Cake Day CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our Cake Day CTMH Australasian Blog Hop. If you arrived from Lauren's blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened by, thanks for stopping. I hope you will continue on to see what the others have created using this collection.

The first layout I am sharing with you was created using leftover pieces from the paper pack I got as a CTMH Maker for the launch of the March April catalogue. I have kept this layout very simple as I will be using it for the last 10 days of my March photo a day pics! All of my pages for this project are simple with little to no embellishments. They do look great with all the photos on them! So in this layout, I have have used Glacier, Lemonade, Wild Berry & White Daisy cardstock with the Cake Day paper. I just cut 3" squares from the paper then cut these in half diagonally. I then cut some in half again for the end pieces, then in half again to put under the month and on the edge of the right page!

These next 3 layouts are the ones we created as part of the catalogue launch. The first one was created on Black cardstock bases with some White Gel Pen borders added and a few dots. This layout also features some of the stickers from the collection along with Cake Dot Enamel Dots and stamped images from the Cake Day Scrapbooking stamp & thin cuts set.

The next layout features Wild Berry cardstock bases, with a circle sponged with Sundance ink on the middle of the left page & stamped elements, stickers & dots scattered around the circle. There is more sponging on the right page along with the stamped elements & stickers to tie the two pages together.

The final page features Green Apple cardstock for the base pages with Glacier cardstock on the layout. The banners at the top are cut using the thin cuts from the collection then some are stamped, some with White Gel Pen highlights, some are coloured using the Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers, but they all look so good. The page is finished with stickers and enamel dots!

The Cake Day collection is available till the end of April, strictly WSL! Ask you CTMH Maker how you can get your collection today! If you don't have a CTMH Maker and live in Australia, I would love to help you. You can contact me here! And don't forget to check out the current specials available!

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on the blog hop to see what Dannii from Scrappy Chicks has created!

Happy papercrafting.

Cardstock Carnival CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Australasian Cardstock Carnival Blog Hop. If you arrived from Dannii's Scrappy Chicks blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened by, thanks for stopping. I hope you will continue on to see what the others have created using the beautiful two toned cardstock from Close To My Heart!

The first project I want to share with you was inspired by an idea shared by Andrea Sherman - fellow CTMH Maker from the US. It is a card that I made using just Black, Clover & White Daisy cardstock. I cut the flower shape on the Cricut - from the Flower Market Cricut Collection, then used my piercing tool to punch some holes around the edge and used Silver Embellishing Thread to stitch through those holes. I finished of the card with a simple sentiment from the Dragonfly Sympathy stamp set (my stamping is a bit wonky, but I think it looks ok) and added 3 Silver Glitter Gems (they do look gold in the pic) to the centre of the flower. I added some Thin 3D Foam Tape to the flower to give it some extra dimension.

The other projects I want to share with you are all little boxes or containers for adding Easter Eggs to! These were all cut using my Cricut machine using various collections.

This little box was created using Wild Berry cardstock and the chicken was cut from Lemonade cardstock. It will fit a collection of little eggs.

For this crate, I used Mocha cardstock and stamped the timber grain using the Barn Door stamp set with Mocha ink. The bunny was created using circles, ovals & a sunburst shape - cut in White Daisy & Peach cardstock. I added colour to the white shapes using the Peach ink pad with a Sponge Dauber. It fits 3 x 17g Easter eggs.

This box was created using Clover cardstock and the rabbit cut from Mink cardstock. It fits 2 x 17g Easter Eggs.

This fry box was cut from Lemonade cardstock and the rabbit from White Daisy & Peach cardstock. I added colour to the white pieces using the Peach ink pad and sponge dauber too. This container had a 114g pack of little eggs in it.

For this last container (popcorn box), I used Avocado cardstock. I stamped the cross from the Easter Cross stamp set. The flowers are coloured using Light Green & Coral Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers. Then I coloured the cross with Gold Shimmer Brush.

There are so many ways to use the great selection of Close To My Heart cardstock! I did plan to create a scrapbook layout to share, but ran out of time.
The Cardstock Carnival special is available during March 2022 only! So make sure you contact your CTMH Maker to find out all the details. Or if you don't have a Maker and live in Australia, you can find the details of this great special on my website here! Don't forget to check out the other specials while you are there!

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on our blog hop to see what Doris has created.

S2203 - You're the G.O.AT. Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our S2203 - You're the G.O.A.T. CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month blog hop. If you arrived from Dannii's Scrappy Chicks blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened by, I hope you will continue on our small hop to see what has been created using this collection.

I must say, I am not really into the punny sentiments, so used other sentiments on my cards. But I am happy with how they turned out.

This first card was created using In Full Bloom paper pack & Black cardstock - I cut the border using one of the retired Scallop Border Thin Cuts. The sentiment is from one of my favourite mini stamp sets - Mini Greetings - Birthday (M1307). I finished off this very simple card with some Silver Glitter Gems.

This card was inspired by one on page 43 of the NEW March/April 2022 catalogue - available today!
I used White Daisy & Black cardstock, paper from the Love Story - Black collection, Shaker Circle Thin Cuts, White Acrylic Hearts, Clear Sparkles & Bitty Sparkles. The dog - from S2203 - You're the G.O.A.T. stamp set and the sentiment is from Z4411 - You're a Classic stamp & thin cuts.

Both of my cards are very simple, but I am pleased with them.  This stamp set is available during March 2022 only for $34.00 or for just $9.00 with a qualifying order, or you can get it for FREE with a qualifying order if you are a VIP!  Get your stamp set today from your CTMH Maker, or you can find all the details about the Stamp of the Month under the 'PROMOTIONS' tab on my website.  Don't forget to check out all the other specials available this month - including the Cardstock Carnival!

I hope you will leave a comment before you continue on to see what Doris has created using the March 2022 Stamp of the Month - You're the G.O.A.T.

Happy papercrafting!

CTMH Australasian Sawyer Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Australasian Sawyer Blog Hop! If you arrived from Shaunna's Passionate About Pages blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened by, thank you for stopping! I hope you will continue on our blog hop by clicking on the link at the bottom of this post.

The Sawyer collection is so versatile! I used it to record some of our family travels. This first layout was inspired by a layout by Brenda Rose (fellow CTMH Maker) and was created using White Daisy, Harbour, Peach, Mint, Lemonade & Sundance cardstock, Sawyer paper pack, Stencil pack 1, Mustard Seed Distress Oxide ink pad, 6" x 4" Flip Flaps, Z3762 - Pennant Banner Alphabet stamp & thin cuts, Harbour, Lemonade, Grape, Sundance, Mulberry, Peach & Mint ink pads, Pastel Mini Circles, Cricut DS with Cricut Sans Font & Offset feature. The use of flip flaps meant that I could add several extra photos.

This second layout was created using White Daisy, Mulberry, Lemonade, Harbour, Mint & Sundance cardstock, Love Each Day Cricut Collection, Sawyer paper pack, C1929 - Build a Flower stamp set, E1069 - Pattern Block Alphabet stamp set, Mint, Lemonade, Sundance, Avocado, Flamingo, Peach, Harbour, New England Ivy, Papaya & Grape ink pads. I added the title and some of the flowers with 3D Foam tape to add more dimension.

And for this last layout, I have used White Daisy, Harbour, Mulberry, Lemonade & Peach cardstock, Sawyer paper pack, D2070 - Here & Now stamp set, Z4391 - Everyday Featured Attractions stamp & thin cuts, Harbour, Lemonade, Wisteria, Peach, Mulberry & Mint ink pads. Once again, I used 3D Foam Tape to add dimension to some of the embellishments.

The Sawyer collection is available till the end of February 2022 WSL!  If you would like to get this collection, contact your CTMH Maker now! If you don't have a CTMH Maker and live in Australia, I would love to help you. Contact me through my website! S2022 - Here's the Story CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our S2202E - Here's the Story Stamp of the Month CTMH Australasian Blog Hop. If you arrived from Dannii's Scrappy Chicks blog you are in the right place. If you just happened by, thank you for stopping. I hope you will continue on our blog hop to see what the others have created.

This stamp set was perfect for adding to a layout I created of our trip a couple of years ago to the Mornington Peninsula - back when travelling was so much easier! I don't always add a lot of embellishments to my pages, but some of these sentiments were just perfect for this layout!

This layout was inspired by one on page 14 of the current Seasonal catalogue (Jan-Feb 2022) I used White Daisy, Peach, Mint, Grape, Sundance, Lemonade & Harbour Cardstock, Harbour Glitter Paper, Sawyer Paper Pack, Mint Shimmer Brush, S2202E - Here's The Story stamp set, C1929 - Build a Flower stamp set, Harbour, Sundance, Grape, Peach, Mulberry (2nd Generation) ink pads, Versamark ink pad, White Embossing Powder, Artiste Cricut Collection - for diamonds and title, Pastel Mini Circles.

Before adding any paper to the layout, I splattered the White Daisy page bases with Mint Shimmer Brush.  I cut the zip strips in half lengthwise for the top and bottom of each page, then added a 1/8" strip of Harbour Glitter Paper inside that. To get the placement of my diamonds on the left page, I ruled light pencil lines through the centre of the page, then used those lines to start placing the diamonds - starting at the centre and working out from there. (In hindsight that is what I should have done for the right page too!)  For the right page, I placed the photos where I wanted them - evenly spaced, then filled in the gaps with the diamonds. When I taught this at a recent workshop, the girls repeated the diamond layout from the left page to the right page - I had cut enough for both pages for them.  My title was cut on the Cricut and then I added various sentiments stamped in colours featured in the Sawyer collection to add to my page! I added these using 3D Foam tape for dimension.  I finished the page with some stamping to fill in some of the gaps and some of the cute little Pastel Mini Circles.

The S2202E - Here's the Story Stamp of the Month is available during February only, for just $9.00 with a qualifying order, or for FREE if with a qualifying order if your are a VIP or you can purchase it for just $34.00.
