CTMH Comfort & Joy Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Comfort & Joy Australasian blog hop! If you arrived from Shaunna's blog, you are in the right place. If you just popped by, thank you! I hope you will continue on our blog hop to see what the other talented ladies have created using the Comfort & Joy collection.

I have had lots of fun creating with this collection! The first project I am sharing with you was inspired by layout by fellow blog hop participant, Megan of Crop Craft Create, using White Daisy & Candy Apple cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack with stickers, Tags & Tabs Thin Cuts, Gold Embellishing Thread & Red Glitter Paper. It is ready to add photos at Christmas time!

For this card, I used White Daisy cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack, Fancy Borders Thin Cuts, D1977 - Every Bit of Wonderful stamp set, Intense Black ink pad, New England Ivy ink pad, Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers & 3D Foam Tape

This treat holder was inspired by one by Liz Johnson from a few years ago. I created it using Ruby & White Daisy Cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack, Basic Circles Thin Cuts, Z3781 - Garden Gnomes stamp & thin cuts, Intense Black ink pad & Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers. I will add a cellophane bag with some goodies to this as a little treat for someone.

This card pattern is an oldie - great for using up small leftover pieces of paper. It was created using Scarlet & White Daisy cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack, D1976 - Seasonal Borders stamp set, New England Ivy ink pad, Corner Rounder, Wooden Buttons, Gold Embellishing Thread, Red & Toffee Shimmer Brush.

For this card, I used the Comfort & Joy Cricut collection with White Daisy, Scarlet, Almond, Fern, Evergreen, Sundance cardstock, Pearl Paper, Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts, D1975 - Seasonal Borders stamp set & Pewter ink pad.

This card was created using Ruby & White Daisy cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack, D1947 - From the Funny Farm stamp set, C1875 - Jolly Characters stamp set, Z3741 - Gnome Matter stamp & thin cuts,Intense Black ink pad, Small Bow Thin Cuts, Basic Circles Thin Cuts & Gold Embellishing Twine.

And the final project I want to share with you today, is a gift card holder. I made this using Candy Apple, Fern & White Daisy cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack, Garden Gnomes stamp & Thin Cuts, Intense Black ink pad & Spectrum Noir Tri-blend Markers.

This is the inside of the gift card holder.

S2010 - With All My Love CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to our S2010 - With All My Love CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you arrived from Dannii's Scrappy Chicks blog, you are in the right place. If you just popped in, thank you for stopping by. I hope you will continue on our blog hop to see what the other girls have created!

So far, I have created a couple of cards with this stamp set! I have been recently introduced to Distress Oxide inks - now available from your CTMH Maker - so I had fun with these.
For the first card I want to share with you, I used White Daisy cardstock, Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts, S2010 - With All My Love stamp set, Versamark ink pad, White Embossing Powder, Mowed Lawn, Faded Jeans & Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink pads, Silver Embellishing Thread & 3D Foam Tape. So to create this card I used the Distress Oxide ink pads with sponge and added the inks to my cardstock. I then sprayed a little water on the cardstock to give the 'splatter' look. When the ink was dry, I cut the shape using my Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts then stamped the image with Versamark ink then added White Embossing Powder. I also added the sentiment using Versamark & White Embossing Powder to some left over inked paper. I finished off the card with a White Stitched Rectangle Border and some Silver Embellishing Thread.

For my second card, I watched a video by Jennifer McGuire on no colour masking. I used White Daisy cardstock, S2010 - With All My Love stamp set, Intense Black ink pad, Mowed Grass, Faded Jeans & Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. So to create this card, I stamped the image on the White Daisy cardstock, then cut a mask from Post It Notes and attached on top of my stamped image. I then used the Distress Oxide inks to colour the background. It really was quite simple! (Just make sure you don't have black ink on your fingers when you touch the card!)

The S2010 - With All My Love stamp set is only available during October. If you are a member of the NEW VIP program, you can get this stamp set for FREE with an $80.00 order this month, or if you are not a VIP, you can get it for just $9.00 with an $80.00 order or you can purchase it for $34.00 with no qualifying order. Contact your consultant for more details, or, if you don't have a consultant and live in Australia, you can find the details of the stamp of the month, the NEW VIP program and much more or contact me, on my website!

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on our blog hop to see what Doris has created!

Stay safe & well!

Happy papercrafting!
