CTMH Stars & Sparklers Australasian Blog Hop

This collection is great for all kinds of celebrations. I have had lots of fun creating with it.

For this first layout, I used MIFYH Vol 5, Pattern 8 and White Daisy & Sapphire cardstock, You Are Enough Coordinating cardstock, Mix In paper pack - May June 21, Stars & Sparklers paper pack, Blue Belle Shimmer Pen and the Stars & Sparklers Cricut Collection. I love being able to mix paper packs to get the look I want! I will be using this layout to help document my daughter's upcoming 21st birthday.

This layout is based on one shared by fellow Maker - Chris Robertson. It was created using Sapphire, Scarlet, Toffee & White Daisy cardstock, Stars & Sparklers paper pack and Stars & Sparklers Cricut collection. I can't wait to add photos to this layout (when I get them printed). 

These cards were all inspired by the CTMH One Sheet Wonder cards shared on the CTMH YouTube channel on 22nd April. I used White Daisy & Carolina cardstock, Stars & Sparklers paper, Z3949 - Stars & Sparklers Cardmaking Workshop stamp & thin cuts, Carolina, Scarlet & Sapphire ink pack, Journalling Pen & Gold Sequins to create these cards and others!

I managed to complete one more layout before this hop goes live! Since the beginning of March, I have been taking a 'Photo a Day' and at the end of each fortnight, printing those pics taken and putting them on a page! 

I used scraps of paper from the Stars & Sparklers paper pack with Sapphire & White Daisy cardstock to create this layout! I added some Blue Belle Glitter Gems to finish it off!

CTMH Hillside Cottage Australasian Blog Hop

I just want to say, I wasn't sure about this collection when I first saw it, but as they say, don't judge a book by the cover! Once I took the paper out of the pack and started playing with it, I realised there is lots to love about the collection! So far, I have only had a chance to make this one layout as an example for my retreat this weekend.

For this layout, I used Pattern #8 from the Make it From the Heart Vol 5 idea book. In the book, the pattern features a circle under the photo on the right side, but I just cut a square. To create my layout, I used White Daisy cardstock along with the Hillside Cottage paper pack and stickers. I added some 3D Foam Tape under some of the stickers for added dimension. I am really happy with how it turned out.

May update

I am sorry I have been MIA for the last couple of months! But I am back now and will endeavor to post regularly again!

There is so much to share, but I will start by sharing a couple of projects I created using the May Stamp of the Month - S2105 (Flowers for You). 

I have been busy preparing for my upcoming retreat - just 10 days away now! These are just a small number of the projects we will be sharing. For my page layout I used White Daisy & Sapphire cardstock, You Are Enough paper pack, Blue Belle glitter paper, S2105 - Flowers for You stamp set, Sapphire, Peach & Blue Belle ink pads. The stamp set was used to add an extra border to my layout.

This card was created using  Peach & White Daisy cardstock, You Are Enough Paper Pack, S2105 - Flowers For You stamp set, Sapphire & Peach ink pads  & Gold Embellishing Thread.

And this card was created using Peach & White Daisy cardstock, You Are Enough Paper Pack, S2104 - Scandinavian Folk Art Greetings stamp set, Sapphire, Sangria & Peach ink pads. I added dimension by using 3D Foam Tape under the stamped image and sentiment.

In This Together Special

Celebrate happy memories made over the last several months with the In This Together collection! This paper suite includes a new paper packet and sticker sheet, coordinating cardstock, enamel dots, the My Acrylix® In This Together stamp set, and three discounted bundle options! 

I love the versatility of this collection! I had fun creating some layouts using it and only one of them is COVID-19 related. 

This layout was inspired by one by fellow consultant, Karen Clarke (she used a different paper collection for her layout). It features some of the papers and stickers from the In This Together collection!

This layout was inspired by fellow consultant, Brenda Rose. But for this one, I used the reverse of the paper so does not need to have COVID related pics on it. 

This layout was inspired by Layout #33 from the MIFYH Vol 3 idea book. I created the layout using White Daisy, Sapphire & Lemonade cardstock, CC2215 - In This Together paper pack & stickers, CC2214 - In This Together Dots, Sapphire Crochet Thread, Pocket Plus Design 1 Memory Protectors, Z3682 - Fancy Borders Thin Cuts,  and the title was cut using Artiste, Artbooking & Artistry Cricut Collections. 

This layout is inspired by Layout #1 from the VIP We Are Good Together workshop using White Daisy Lagoon, Lemonade & Sapphire cardstock, CC2212 - In This Together Paper Pack, C1889 - Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set, Lagoon Ink Pad & White & Gold Twine.

And this last layout was inspired a version by fellow consultant, Janice Gilhooley, of Layout #2 of the VIP We Are Good Together workshop.  It was created using Mink & Sapphire cardstock, In This Together paper pack, VIP100 - We Are Good Together stamp set, Lagoon, Lemonade, Nectarine & Sapphire ink pads &Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts.

S2103 Winged Masterpiece CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

I love butterflies, so was very happy to see this stamp set! I have made a couple of cards to share with you today. 

The first one features the Dragonfly! To create this card I used paper from the Jan-Feb Mix In paper pack and cut it using the Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts. The circle is the cut from Avocado cardstock and is the inside of the Shaker Circle Thin Cut (I used the frame on another project). I stamped the Dragonfly using the Intense Black ink pad then coloured it with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers. I finished it off by adding some shimmer with the Clear Shimmer Brush on the body. I used 3D Foam tape to add some dimension to my card. The sentiment is stamped directly to the card front.

For my second card I stamped the butterfly using Versamark ink, then added Silver Embossing Powder. I coloured the image using Shimmer Brushes - Peach, Plum, Sundance, Lemonade, Wisteria, Flamingo & Avocado. I matted the butterfly & sentiment with Plum Cardstock. I am very pleased with how it turned out!

CTMH Sweet Safari Australasian Blog Hop

When I first saw this collection, the first thing I thought was it was only suitable for children's pages! But it is not! The collection is so versatile!

I created this layout with pictures from our annual trip to a sculpture display at one of the beach side suburbs of Adelaide.

The right page was Pinterest inspired. To create my layout, I used White Daisy, Lagoon, Candy Apple & Espresso cardstock, Sweet Safari Paper Pack & Complete Creativity Cricut Collection for the title. This layout is perfect for using up scraps of paper and cardstock. The photos on the right page are all 3" x 4" and 3" x 3" with strips of paper filling some of the gaps.
