What's NEW

As many of you know, I recently attended the first annual Australasian Close To My Heart Convention in Brisbane. It was a great time, catching up with old friends and making new friends. And there was some great training from home office staff and from some of our own consultants.

The NEW Seasonal Expressions supplement to the Annual Inspirations catalogue was unveiled and we got to see some of the NEW product that will be available for purchase from 1st December. But I will have some of the Seasonal Expressions available by the end of this week. They are just $2.00 each.

There are two new collections, including paper packs & coordinating embellishments and WoTG kits as well as NEW albums and a fabulous Rolling Tote that fits 1 large, 2 medium & 1 small organiser as well as tools and paper packs and embellishments. The tote will be available sometime during November.

The paper packs are and some of the other products are only available for the life of the supplement, so if you see something you would like, don't delay placing your order.

At convention, we were able to use some of the New products. Below are a couple of the projects we made.

Brushed Pages

I will soon be attending the annual Close To My Heart Convention in Brisbane and I can't wait as I know it will be a fabulous few days! Of course there will be lots of training - including using the fabulous CTMH product range, plenty of laughter and catching up with old friends and making new friends and of course there will an abundance of good food! All attendees have the opportunity to enter in a page layout competition, so I thought why not! So below are the pages I am entering. The page on the right was inspired by one on page 102 in the Annual Inspirations (and was the page we made at my September Workshops) and the page on the left was made to coordinate.

The flowers & leaves were stamped using A Budding Friendship stamp set  and colour added using Pixie, Cotton Candy, Canary & Pear Exclusive Inks with Sponge Daubers

The title and overlay were cut on the Cricut using the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge

I have used the Wishes Cardmaking Idea Book Greeting Card Workshop to create 16 cards - 2 each of 8 designs.

One of my favourite projects completed recently is this Christmas page (below) from last year. The colours I have used were inspired by the red brick of our home and the roses in the front garden.

I have cut the overlays using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge

Roses are one of my favourite flowers. Many of you have seen our beautiful red and yellow roses in full bloom. The first flush of this season is coming out now.

I used the fabulous ShinHan Twin Touch Markers to colour the bling for the tree.

A cute little 3"x3" card

 This border on this little card is cut using the Scallop Border Punch and some scraps of cardstock. I used Sparkles to decorate

A Mini Pillow Box - great for small gifts

This little Pillow Box would be great for any of those small gifts for loved ones. It was made using Adventure Paper Fundamentals. I love all the colours in these paper packs!
