CTMH Serenity Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Serenity Australasian Blog Hop. If you arrived from Shaunna's Passionate About Pages blog, you are in the right place. If you just popped in, thank you. I hope you will continue on our blog hop to see what the other talented ladies created using this collection.

I have to say, this is one of my favourite collections from Close To My Heart and I will be using it for my Christmas photos this year!  So with that in mind, I have had lots of fun creating with the Serenity collection!

This layout (not a Christmas one) was Inspired by the layout on p14 of the Nov-Dec catalogue, and was created using White Daisy cardstock, Serenity paper pack with stickers, Bulk Serenity paper, Serenity PML cards & Blue Belle Shimmer Trim. It was the perfect paper for capturing these pics of my gorgeous girl at her dance club's 20th birthday celebrations!

For this layout, the page layout inspired by fellow consultant, Janice Gilhooley & the Hexagons inspired by fellow consultant, Chris Robertson, using White Daisy & Blue Belle cardstock, Serenity paper pack with stickers, Gold Embellishing Thread & finished with Gold Glitter Gems. It is ready to add some Christmas photos!

This layout is based on Chris Robertson's 4 Sheet Wonder Chevron Layout and was created using White Daisy & Blue Belle cardstock, Blue Belle Glitter Paper, Gold Foil Paper, Serenity Paper Pack, Jingle Joy Cricut Collection, Artiste Cricut Collection & Gold Embellishing Thread. I love how this one turned out and can't wait to add some photos to it!

And this layout was inspired by the Falalala layout from the Oct '20 CTMH Album Retreat (these are fabulous online events hosted by Close To My Heart several times a year where you get to create around 20 pages using lots of great techniques). I used White Daisy & Blue Belle cardstock, Serenity Paper Pack, Blue Belle Glitter Paper, Gold Foil Paper, E1060 - Home for Christmas stamp set (exclusive Album Retreat set), Blue Belle, Toffee & Black ink pads, Distress Oxide ink pads - Faded Jeans & Antique Linen & Stitched Circle Embossing Folder. I am really pleased with how it turned out!

The Serenity collection is available till the end of December - WSL! Contact your consultant to get yours today, or if you don't have a consultant and live in Australia, I would love to help you. You can contact me and find the Serenity collection and much more on my website! Don't forget to check out all the current specials available too!

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on to see what Doris of Creative Inspirations has created using the Serenity Collection!

Stay safe & well and have a fabulous Christmas!

Happy papercrafting!

S2012 - Happiness Never Grows Old CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to our S2012 - Happpines Never Grows Old CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  If you arrived from Lauren's blog, you are in the right place. If you just popped in, thank you. I hope you will continue on our hop to see what the other ladies have created.
It is a busy time of year with so much to do, so I have only created a couple of cards so far with this gorgeous stamp set.
For my first card, using Intense Black ink, I stamped one of the images on a piece of White Daisy cardstock, then again on a circle cut using the Stitched Circle Thin Cuts (NLA), but you could cut your circle using what ever tool you have available. I then used Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers to colour the part of the image on the circle. I used 3D Foam Tape to add the circle to the White Daisy piece - lining up the image. Ruby Cardstock was added to the card base, with the stamped piece on top. I finished off the card with some Julep Glitter Gems from my stash.

For my second card, I stamped one of the images onto a piece of White Daisy cardstock then used Picked Raspberry & Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides to add colour. I love how this turned out and it was very quick and simple to do! The sentiment is from A1252 - From the Wildflowers. I used Thin 3D Foam Tape to add the stamped White Daisy cardstock to the card front.

The S2012 - Happiness Never Grows Old stamp set is only available during December 2020.
If you are a member of the NEW VIP program, you can get this stamp set for FREE with an $80.00 order this month, or if you are not a VIP, you can get it for just $9.00 with an $80.00 order or you can purchase it for $34.00 with no qualifying order. Contact your consultant for more details, or, if you don't have a consultant and live in Australia, you can find the details of the stamp of the month, the NEW VIP program and much more or contact me, on my website! Don't forget to check out all the fabulous specials available now too!

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on our blog hop to see what Maz has created using this stamp set.

CTMH Jingle Joy Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Jingle Joy Australasian Blog Hop! If you arrived from Shaunna's blog - Passionate about Pages - you are in the right place. If you just popped by, thank you. I hope you will continue on our blog hop to see what the rest of the team have created using the Jingle Joy collection.

I love the colours in this collection, but I am using our NEW Blue Belle colour for my Christmas pages this year, so I will be using the black and white side of the paper to tell my 2020 Christmas story.

I have only created the title page so far, but I am so pleased with how it turned out! Don't you love that Blue Belle Glitter paper?

To create this layout, I used Blue Belle Cardstock, Jingle Joy paper pack, Blue Belle Glitter paper, Small Bow Thin Cut, Black Cardstock, Gold Embellishing Thread, Blue Belle Glitter Gems & Clear Shimmer Brush. I will add a photo of my family that will be taken on Christmas day to this page.

My second project using the Jingle Joy paper pack is this cute treat holder. I adapted an idea that fellow consultant Liz Johnston shared a couple of years ago. It is a great little treat holder to add something small in a cellophane bag that can be seen through the window.

I used Clover cardstock, Jingle Joy paper pack, Basic Circles Thin Cuts (NLA) & Teddy Bear Hugs Stamp & Thin Cuts to create my treat holder.

To make this treat holder, you will need a piece of cardstock  measuring 4" x 9.75". Score this at 1.25", 4.75" & 6.25". You will need a piece of printed paper measuring 3.75" x 3.25" and another measuring 3.75"  x 1".  Add the larger printed piece to the top 4" x 3.5" section, then use any thin cut shape - I used the basic circles thin cuts - to cut a hole. Fold along score lines, add a hook and loop closure under the flap. Decorate with a stamped image of choice. Add a cellophane bag of treats inside.

The Jingle Joy collection is available from your consultant till the end of December (WSL). Make sure you check out all the specials available now, including the fabulous NEW VIP program. Or if you don't have a consultant and live in Australia, you can find it and much more on my website

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on our blog hop to see what Maz has created using the Jingle Joy collection.

Stay safe & well.

Happy crafting!

I have had lots of fun creating with this collection! The first project I am sharing with you was inspired by layout by fellow blog hop participant, Megan of Crop Craft Create, using White Daisy & Candy Apple cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack with stickers, Tags & Tabs Thin Cuts, Gold Embellishing Thread & Red Glitter Paper. It is ready to add photos at Christmas time!

For this card, I used White Daisy cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack, Fancy Borders Thin Cuts, D1977 - Every Bit of Wonderful stamp set, Intense Black ink pad, New England Ivy ink pad, Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers & 3D Foam Tape

This treat holder was inspired by one by Liz Johnson from a few years ago. I created it using Ruby & White Daisy Cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack, Basic Circles Thin Cuts, Z3781 - Garden Gnomes stamp & thin cuts, Intense Black ink pad & Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers. I will add a cellophane bag with some goodies to this as a little treat for someone.

This card pattern is an oldie - great for using up small leftover pieces of paper. It was created using Scarlet & White Daisy cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack, D1976 - Seasonal Borders stamp set, New England Ivy ink pad, Corner Rounder, Wooden Buttons, Gold Embellishing Thread, Red & Toffee Shimmer Brush.

For this card, I used the Comfort & Joy Cricut collection with White Daisy, Scarlet, Almond, Fern, Evergreen, Sundance cardstock, Pearl Paper, Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts, D1975 - Seasonal Borders stamp set & Pewter ink pad.

This card was created using Ruby & White Daisy cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack, D1947 - From the Funny Farm stamp set, C1875 - Jolly Characters stamp set, Z3741 - Gnome Matter stamp & thin cuts,Intense Black ink pad, Small Bow Thin Cuts, Basic Circles Thin Cuts & Gold Embellishing Twine.

And the final project I want to share with you today, is a gift card holder. I made this using Candy Apple, Fern & White Daisy cardstock, Comfort & Joy paper pack, Garden Gnomes stamp & Thin Cuts, Intense Black ink pad & Spectrum Noir Tri-blend Markers.

This is the inside of the gift card holder.

S2010 - With All My Love CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to our S2010 - With All My Love CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you arrived from Dannii's Scrappy Chicks blog, you are in the right place. If you just popped in, thank you for stopping by. I hope you will continue on our blog hop to see what the other girls have created!

So far, I have created a couple of cards with this stamp set! I have been recently introduced to Distress Oxide inks - now available from your CTMH Maker - so I had fun with these.
For the first card I want to share with you, I used White Daisy cardstock, Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts, S2010 - With All My Love stamp set, Versamark ink pad, White Embossing Powder, Mowed Lawn, Faded Jeans & Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink pads, Silver Embellishing Thread & 3D Foam Tape. So to create this card I used the Distress Oxide ink pads with sponge and added the inks to my cardstock. I then sprayed a little water on the cardstock to give the 'splatter' look. When the ink was dry, I cut the shape using my Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts then stamped the image with Versamark ink then added White Embossing Powder. I also added the sentiment using Versamark & White Embossing Powder to some left over inked paper. I finished off the card with a White Stitched Rectangle Border and some Silver Embellishing Thread.

For my second card, I watched a video by Jennifer McGuire on no colour masking. I used White Daisy cardstock, S2010 - With All My Love stamp set, Intense Black ink pad, Mowed Grass, Faded Jeans & Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks. So to create this card, I stamped the image on the White Daisy cardstock, then cut a mask from Post It Notes and attached on top of my stamped image. I then used the Distress Oxide inks to colour the background. It really was quite simple! (Just make sure you don't have black ink on your fingers when you touch the card!)

The S2010 - With All My Love stamp set is only available during October.

CTMH Party Time Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Party Time Australasian Blog Hop. If you arrived from Kimmy Adds Sparkle's blog, you are in the right place. If you arrived from elsewhere, thank you for stopping by. I hope you will continue on the hop to see what all the others have created using this collection. This collection is so bright & cheery and I have had fun creating with it.

The first project I want to share with you was inspired by a cube card by Dawn Griffiths and was created using White Daisy & Lemonade cardstock, Party Time paper pack & stickers, White & Gold Twine. This card folds flat and fits in a 6" x 6" envelope.

For my next card, I used the NEW Waterfall Thin Cuts from Close To My Heart. This is one of my new favourite tools from the new catalogues!
The card was created using White Daisy & Peacock cardstock, Party Time paper pack & stickers, Waterfall Thin Cuts, M1277 - Swirly Happy Birthday stamp set, Z3779 - Wishing You Everything stamp & thin cuts, Peacock & Intense Black ink pads, Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers - Citrus Yellow, Blue Turquoise, Light Green & White & Gold Twine. These cards are so much fun to make!

The final project I want to share with you today is some pages ready to add pics of a family celebration. To create this project, I used White Daisy, Ballerina, Lemonade, Lagoon & Sapphire Cardstock, Party Time Paper pack & Stickers, Z3779 - Wishing You Everything stamp and thin cuts set, Sapphire & Lagoon Ink Pads & Silver Glitter Gems. The layout of these pages were created using the Extended Story cutting guide available from your consultant. I love how I can mix different sized pages into my 12" x 12" albums and they work!

The Party Time Collection is available for a whole year - till August 2021 from your consultant. If you don't have a consultant and live in Australia, you can check out the collection & much more, on my website.

I have been madly preparing for my postponed annual Scrapbooking Retreat so have only created two projects using this stamp set, so far. The first layout was inspired by one taught at the CTMH Virtual Album retreat back in May. The squares are created by cutting a circle then folding the edges over a square shape (or you can score the square into the circles, then fold). I used White Daisy, Cinnamon, Espresso, Fern & Sundance cardstock, Artistry Cricut collection for title, Bloom With Grace paper pack, Gold Glitter Gems, Toffee Shimmer Brush, Glisten Stickles, S2009 - Here for the Memories stamp set & Espresso ink pad to create this layout that the girls got to make over the weekend.

For this layout, I was inspired by Layout 2G in the Reflections idea book. To make the page, I used White Daisy, Fern & Sangria cardstock, Bloom with Grace paper pack, Everyday Moments Cricut Collection, S2009 - Here for the Memories stamp set, Fern & Sangria ink pads, Sponge Dauber & White & Gold Twine.

The S2009 - Here for the Memories stamp set is only available during September so don't miss out on getting yours. It is available for just $9.00 with a purchase of $80.00 or you can purchase it for $34.00. Contact your consultant for more details or check it out on my website under the 'Promotions' tab.

Don't forget to check out all the fabulous special happening now! You can get all the details from your consultant, or check them out on my website under the 'Promotions' Tab.
