CTMH Australasian Spruced Up Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Australasian Spruced Up Blog Hop! If you arrived from Maz's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived here by accident, I hope you will hop around and see what everyone has created using this versatile Spruced Up collection!

I have been busy creating with this collection ready for my upcoming workshop and to build up my card collection so I will have cards on hand as needed during the year!

This first layout - which now has photos on it (but I haven't taken pictures of the the completed pages) was created using White Daisy, Sangria, Mink & Julep cardstock, Spruced Up paper pack with stickers, CTMH Artbooking Cricut collection, CTMH You Are Here Cricut collection, Julep Loose Sequins &Thin 3D Foam Tape to add some dimension to the title.  I also added extra photos to this layout with Flip Flaps and Memory Protectors Plus, Design 1.

This layout is a favourite! I want to add some different techniques to some of my projects this year, so this workshop by Julie Carriere of The Scrap Zone was perfect! I changed up Julie's layout to suit. I love the torn & inked edges on this layout! I created it using White Daisy, Espresso, Mink & Sangria cardstock, Spruced Up paper pack with stickers, Artbooking, Flower Market & You Are Here cricut collections, Z3633 - Spruced Up Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cuts, Espresso & Evergreen ink pads, Clear Shimmer Brush, Thin Foam Tape, Small Round Water Brush & Edge Distresser.

The first 3 cards are my version of the cards from the Spruced Up card making workshop. I changed them up a little to suit me. I love the colours in these papers!

For this card,  I used Espresso, Julep, French Vanilla & Sangria cardstock, Spruced Up Paper, Z3633 - Spruced Up Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cuts set, Espresso & Julep ink pads, Thin White & Gold  Ribbon &Thin 3D Foam Tape.

This card was created using Sangria & White Daisy cardstock, Z3633 - Spruced Up Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cuts, Mink, Julep & Sangria ink pads, Silver Embellishing Thread, Thin 3D Foam Tape & 3D Foam Tape.

Another thing I plan on doing this year is to use up some of the bits I have in my stash! I did that in these next two cards. This first one was created using Julep & White Daisy cardstock, Spruced Up paper, Z3624 - Celebrate Embossing Folder, Z3625 - Happy Birthday Shaker Window, Julep & Silver Loose Sequins, Burlap Ribbon (retired), Sandpaper (retired).

This next one was created using White Daisy & Sangria cardstock, Spruced Up paper pack (Zip Strip), Green Burlap Ribbon (retrired), Julep Loose Sequins.

For this card, I used  White Daisy & Sangria cardstock, Spruced Up paper pack, Z3639 - Scallop Circle Thin Cuts, Basic Circle Thin Cuts, S2001 - Everyday Magic stamp set, Black ink pad, Gold Loose Sequins & White & Gold Ribbon.

My last card is a step card.  It was created using White Daisy & Julep cardstock, Spruced Up paper pack, Z3633 - Spruced Up Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cuts, D1283 - Say It In Style stamp set, Espresso & Julep ink pads, Water Colour pencils & 3D Foam Tape.  To make it easier for me to recreate this card in the future, I created a Design Space file so I can easily cut the base on my cricut. You are welcome to use this file to create your own cards, but please do not sell this file:  https://design.cricut.com/#/design/195391597

S2001 - Everyday Magic CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to our 1st blog hop for 2020!

You have joined our S2001 - Everyday Magic CTMH Australasian Blog Hop. If you came from Maz's blog you are on the right track. I hope you will continue to hop around to see what the team has created!

The first project I want to share with you is a double page layout featuring photos taken a year ago when my daughter, Ali, got her Year 12 results!
This layout is inspired by the layout in the NEW catalogue on page 47. It was created using White Daisy & Sangria cardstock, Spruced Up paper pack, S2001 - Everyday Magic stamp set, Black, Julep, Mink & Sangria ink pads, Decorative Borders Thin Cuts (retired). I used the second generation stamping technique to create the background stamping. This layout would be a great one for using up scraps and strips of paper and cardstock.

I was inspired to make this card for my dear friend, Nell, who lost her home in the recent bush fires in the Adelaide Hills. She is such an inspiration and is indeed all kinds of amazing! The card was created using Julep, Sangria & White Daisy cardstock, Spruced Up paper pack, S2001 - Everyday Magic stamp set, Sangria ink pad & Julep Glitter Gems. I tore the top edge of the Sangria cardstock and Spruced Up paper.

The Everyday Magic Stamp Set (S2001) is only available during January 2020, so make sure you contact your consultant to get yours before it's gone! If you don't have a consultant, you can contact me here!

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on around the blog hop to see what Dannii from Dannii's Scrappy Chicks has created.
