While this collection is designed to celebrate weddings, it is so versatile and can certainly be used for much more!

 This layout was inspired by pattern 27 (p58) MIFYH Vol 3, and created using White Daisy, Sugarplum & Sapphire cardstock, True Love Bulk paper, Subway Tile Embossing Folder, White & Gold Twine, D1841- Story FYI stamp set, Sapphire & Sugarplum ink pads. 

This layout is the one I shared at our Hearts SA Meeting last week and was created using  Sapphire & White Daisy cardstock, True Love bulk paper, D1848 - Craft On Scrapbooking stamp set, D1852 - Timeless Textures stamp set, Eggplant, New England Ivy, Sapphire & Sugarplum ink pads, Sapphire Crochet Thread, Thin 3D Foam Tape to add dimension.

S1906 - It's Your Day to Sparkle CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our S1906 - It's Your Day to Sparkle Stamp of the Month CTMH Australasian blog hop. If you arrived from Shaunna's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived by accident, I hope you will continue on the hop with us.

This month, I have created 3 cards that are similar but all a little different, to share with you. 

For the first card, I used White Daisy cardstock, Seasons Mix In paper pack (SE1 2019 - retired), Silver Glitter Paper, Intense Black Ink Pad, ShinHan Markers - Cherry Pink, Sap Green & Barely Beige & the Clear Shimmer Brush (on the plate, but you can't see it very well in this photo). I used Thin 3D Foam Tape to add the cake and sentiment to the card. 

This card was created using White Daisy cardstock, S1906 - It's Your Day to Sparkle stamp set, Intense Black ink pad, Watercolour pencils, Clear Shimmer Brush (on the plate again) & Thin 3D Foam Tape to add the cake and sentiment to the card.

And for my final card, I used White Daisy & Ballerina cardstock, Seasons Mix In paper pack, Intense Black Ink Pad, Ballerina, Ruby & New England Ivy ink pads with Small Round Water Brush for colouring the cake & flowers. I then added some shimmer to the cake with the Clear Shimmer Brush and some extra shimmer with the Gold Shimmer Brush on the plate and sentiment. I used Thin 3D Foam Tape to add the cake and sentiment to the card.

Sweet Girl Australasian Blog Hop

My first layout was Inspired by layout p84 SE2 2019, and created using  Sapphire, Linen, Almond & Glacier cardstock, Sweet Girl paper pack, C1786 - Our Family stamp set, Glacier & Sapphire ink pads, Sapphire Crochet Thread, Stitched Circles Thin Cuts, Thin 3D Foam Tape. I cut the family name on the cricut but it could just as easily be created by stamping, using the gorgeous White Alphabet stickers above or even the Alphabet Thin Cuts. 

This layout was also inspired by one from page 127 of Seasonal Expressions 2, 2019. I used Fern, Mink, Peach, Sapphire & Sugarplum cardstock, Sweet Girl paper pack, Basic Circles Thin Cuts, Stitched Circles Thin Cuts, Stitched Flowers Thin Cuts, Lace Border Thin Cuts, Subway Tile Embossing Folder, Silver Embellishing Thread, Silver Glitter Gems & Sugarplum Glitter Gems.

The final layout I am sharing with you today was created using White Daisy & New England Ivy cardstock, Sweet Girl paper pack, Sapphire Crochet Thread, D1852 - Timeless Textures stamp set, D1860 - You Are My Sunshine stamp set, Black & New England Ivy ink pads.

Even though this collection is geared towards the little girls in your life, the papers are so versatile, they can be used for much more!

S1905 - To My Bestie CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

This layout was created using Black, White Daisy & Sugarplum (Colour of the Year) cardstock with some of the gorgeous NEW Sweet Girl paper. The sentiments and balloons were stamped from S1905 - To My Bestie stamp set in Black ink (Intense Black for the balloons). I then coloured the balloons using the Small Round Water Brush with Peach, Fern & Sapphire ink pads. To add texture, I used the NEW Flower Garden Embossing Folder on the Sugarplum strip and cut the lace border with the NEW Lace Border Thin Cuts. At the top and bottom of the page, I added some more 'texture' by stamping a couple of 'blotches' with the NEW Timeless Textures (D1852) stamp set with the Sugarplum ink pad. I finished off my page with some Sugarplum Glitter Gems.

S1904 - Love So Sweet CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

For this layout, I used I Heart Us paper for the base, with Black cardstock for the border. The squares and rectangles were some I had on my desk left over from previous projects. They were cut from the Feels Like Home paper pack and Ballerina, Peach & Raspberry cardstock using the Stitched Squares Thin Cuts and Stitched Rectangles Thin Cuts (both of which are on backorder, but due back in stock at the end of April). The flowers and butterfly were stamped from S1904 - Love So Sweet stamp set using Ballerina, Peach, Raspberry & Sweet Leaf ink pads. I added the squares and rectangles to the page using Glue Dots then added the matted photo with 3D Foam Tape. I also used 3D Foam tape on some of the embellishments. 

For my card, my inspiration came from the cards on page 151 of Seasonal Expressions 1 (2019) using the stamp set. 

I cut a rectangle using the Stitched Rectangles Thin Cuts from Ballerina cardstock, added a strip of Feels Like Home Paper and some White & Gold Twine. The flowers and butterfly were stamped using Glacier, Pewter & Sweet Leaf ink pads and the sentiment was stamped in Pewter on a tag from the Fancy Tags Thin Cuts. I added some Clear Sparkles to finish the card off.

Convention Creativity Showcase Display

I have just returned home from a fabulous weekend in Brisbane where I attended our Close To My Heart Australasian Convention with around 500 girlfriends! It was great to catch up with old friends and meet new ones!

On Friday night I had a display of some of my artwork at the Consultant Creativity Showcase. This year, my projects featured the Stitched Quilt Shapes Thin Cuts, Stitched Squares Thin Cuts & Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts.

As soon as I saw these Thin Cuts in the current catalogue I knew I was going to have lots of fun creating with them. 

These are some of the projects I displayed that I have created written instructions for that can be purchased for just $10.00. The purchase details can be found here! (on the Workshop Cutting Guides Tab at the top of this page). All proceeds from the sale of these instructions will be donated to Operation Smile - a not for profit organisation who provides surgery to correct Cleft Lips & Pallets in underprivileged communities.

This layout featured the I Heart Us collection from the current catalogue. 

This layout features papers from the Mix Ins paper pack as well as the I Heart Us paper pack and some cardstock too.

This layout features paper from the Feels Like Home paper pack with Black cardstock.

S1903 - This Happened CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our S1903 - This Happened stamp of the month CTMH Australasian blog hop. If you arrived from Lauren's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived by accident I hope you will continue on the hop with us. 

I created my layout using the Seasons Mix Ins paper pack (for the background) with the So Much Happy paper pack (also the featured collection for March), with Sapphire & White Daisy cardstock. I used the fabulous Stitched Quilt Thin Cuts to create the chevron border on the page. The page was finished with a few loose Gold Sequins. I have had so much fun creating with the Stitched Quilt Thin Cuts and can't wait to share more of my creations with you later in the month! This stamp set is so versatile! I know I am going to have fun creating many more layouts using it to add some details!
