Documented CTMH Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our Documented CTMH Australasian Blog Hop! If you arrived from Nell's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived here by accident, then I hope you will hop around all the blogs and see what everyone has created using the gorgeous Documented Collection! This collection is only available till the end of August WSL.

If you scroll down to previous posts, you will see some of the projects I have already shared using the Documented collection, but I have one more scrapbook layout & a couple of cards to share with you here! (I have shared the layout on FB already, but I think it is worth sharing here too! This layout is a great way of using up the scraps you have from your other projects created using any collection!)

This layout was created using White Daisy, Bashful, Eggplant, New England Ivy & Peacock Cardstock, Documented paper pack, D1772 - Documented Scrapbooking Stamp Set, S1808 - For the Love of Crafting stamp set, Eggplant, New England Ivy & Peacock Ink Pads, White & Gold Twine, Documented Dots, Thin 3D Foam Tape, Glue Dots.

These two cards were inspired by fellow consultant, Brenda Rose (from the US), using Almond, Kraft, Toffee & White Daisy Cardstock, D1772 - Documented Scrapbooking Stamp Set, M1186 - Happy Birthday Stamp Set, Almond & Toffee Ink Pads, White Burlap Ribbon, Basic Ovals Thin Cuts, Stitched Ovals Thin Cuts, Thin 3D Foam Tape. The "brick pattern" was created using the square stamp in the Documented Scrapbooking stamp set. I think it makes a great masculine card, but could equally be suitable for anyone!

The Documented collection is so versatile! Contact your consultant to get your Documented  collection - available till the end of August 2018 WSL.  If you don't have a consultant, you can contact me here!

I would love you to leave a comment before continuing on to see what Doris has created.

S1808 - For the Love of Crafting CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our S1808 - For the Love of Crafting Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop! If you arrived from Vandra's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived here by accident, then I hope you will hop around all the blogs to see what has been created using our August Stamp of the Month - For the Love of Crafting!

First, I decided I would create some cards with this gorgeous stamp set this month. On all 3 of these cards I used S1808 - for the Love of Crafting Stamp Set with the Eggplant Ink Pad.

For my first card, I used Bashful, Eggplant and White Daisy Cardstock, Silver Foil Paper, Rose Embossing Folder, White & Gold Twine & Clear Sparkles.

On this card, I added some paper from the Documented Paper Pack with Documented Dots as well as Bashful, Eggplant & White Daisy Cardstock & White & Gold Twine.

I also used Documented Paper along with Bashful, Eggplant & White Daisy Cardstock, with Gold Foil Paper, White & Gold Twine and Gold Glitter Gems.

Of course, I had to create a scrapbooking layout using this gorgeous stamp set, too! I was intrigued by the blog post from Close To My Heart on 26th July about journalling in Design Space using the Cricut, so I had a play and added a sample of that to my layout too!

To create this layout, I used Peacock, Eggplant & White Daisy Cardstock,  Documented Paper Pack, D1772 - Documented Scrapbooking Stamp Set, S1808 - For the Love of Crafting Stamp Set, Bashful, Peacock, Eggplant, New England Ivy Ink Pads, White & Gold Twine, Artistry Cricut Cartridge (for the journalling circle) &  Design Space. Because I only had one line of journalling, I curved it round the circle. (I love this feature in Design Space!)

The August Stamp of the Month - S1808 - For the Love of Crafting is only available this month (August 2018)! You can get the stamp set for just $7.50 (plus GST) by placing an order of $75.00 (plus GST) or more with your consultant or you can purchase it for $27.00 (plus GST). If you don't already have a consultant, you can contact me or make your purchase here!

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on our Blog Hop to see what Lauren has created.

Come back again soon to see what is new and what I have been creating.

Stampaganza is on!

There is just over a week left to take advantage of the fabulous Stampaganza special from Close To My Heart!
During July, buy any two My Acrylix® stamp sets at the full retail price and get a third stamp set of equal or lesser value free! Choose from stamp sets in the current Annual Inspirations or Seasonal Expressions 2, plus the popular Solos number and letter stamp sets that we've brought back just for July! Solos stamp sets can also be purchased in two different bundles, one for letters and one for numbers, for even more savings!
And if you join my team during July or host your own party, you can earn 3 of the Solo Number stamp sets for FREE!

My Solo stamp sets arrived just before we headed away for week, so I had to wait till yesterday for the chance to have a play! I started with a couple of cards - and am very pleased with how they turned out!

For my first card, I was inspired by a card shared by the CTMH art department. I used the Letter "T" stamp set with Documented Paper Pack, White & Peacock Cardstock, Almond & Peacock Ink Pads, White & Gold Twine & 3D Foam Tape. I masked the sentiment on the little pot and added a different one. The word "thanks" was stamped using the Rock 'n' Roll technique with Almond and Peacock ink pads.

For this card, I used the Beautiful Friendship Paper Pack with White Daisy & Sapphire Cardstock. The Solo Letters stamp sets used were H, B, I, R, T, D, A & Y. I once again used the Rock 'n' Roll technique for stamping the butterflies.

I can't wait to use these stamp set on many more projects! I love that there is a large and a small version of each letter & number on each stamp set along with some words and other icons that can be added to projects!

You won't want to miss out on these stamp sets! Just choose your favourite letters and numbers or you can get the complete sets!

You can find all the details of this fabulous special on my website! But, remember, the special only runs till the end of July!

Come back again soon and see what else is NEW and what I have been creating.

Central Park Layouts

I have enjoyed creating with the Central Park Collection this past few weeks.

This layout was created using some left over papers from the Central Park Workshops Your Way pack after I had created a workshop by fellow consultant Tina Lovell. I am working my way through the many photos we took on our visit to Sydney last year and this page was perfect!
I used the Block Alphabet Thin Cuts to cut "ADVENTURE" and "awaits was cut on the Cricut using one of the fonts I have on my computer. I used scraps of cardstock that I had on my desk to cut the walking boots from the 'You Are Here' Cricut Cartridge. While we were in Sydney we did lots and lots of walking, so the walking boots were a perfect addition to the page.

This next layout was inspired by a layout shared by Claire Edmonds (she used the Documented paper for her layout). I used Pacifica & White Daisy cardstock, Central Park Paper Pack, Central Park Alphabet, Central Park Sequins, Z4186 - Fresh Air Stamps & Thin Cuts - for Diamond Shapes. I still have to add my photos - it's been a busy couple of weeks in our house.

These next four layouts are still waiting for photos. They are the workshop by Tina Lovell that I created and shared at my workshop earlier this month. I can't wait to add my photos to these pages.

The Central Park Collection is available till the end of August - WSL, so don't miss out. You can get yours here!

Be sure to come back again soon and see what is NEW and what I have been creating.

S1807 - Highlight Reel CTMH Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to our S1807 - Highlight Reel Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop! If you arrived from Kay's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived here by accident, then I hope you will hop around all the blogs to see what has been created using our July Stamp of the Month - Highlight Reel!

My page layout was inspired by the layout on page 75 of Seasonal Expressions 2 (2018) that features this stamp set.

I mostly work with double page layouts, so I created another page to go with the first one.

To create this layout, I used White Daisy, Pacifica, Willow, Cranberry & Lemon Cardstock, along with the gorgeous Central Park Paper Pack and sequins.

I stamped some of the icons onto scraps of the patterned paper and cut around them.

I also stamped a couple of the titles directly onto my page in coordinating ink colours.

As well as using strips of the Blue Burlap Ribbon, I separated the strands on another strip and added that under some of the icons and photo to add more interest.

The July Stamp of the Month - S1807 - Highlight Reel is only available this month (July 2018)! You can get the stamp set for just $7.50 by placing an order of $75.00 or more with your consultant or you can purchase it for $27.00. If you don't already have a consultant, you can contact me or make your purchase here!

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on our Blog Hop to see what Vandra has created.

Come back again soon to see what is new and what I have been creating.

Last days of Create the Rainbow special - don't miss out! GST is coming 1st July!

You have till 11.59pm AEST tomorrow to take advantage of the fabulous Create the Rainbow Special!

I only got my stamp set this past week as I forgot to order it earlier, but have had lots of fun creating with it!

These are some of the cards I have made in the last few days.

These first two cards were inspired by a card by Okul seen on Pinterest! For the card above, I added some Gold Shimmer pen to the clouds and circles (I was a little heavy handed on some of them).
The card below has Clear Shimmer Brush on the circles and clouds.
I used the CTMH Stitched Circles Thin Cuts for the circles on both cards, with the clouds and sentiment from D1813 - Be a Rainbow Stamp set.

The card above was also Pinterest inspired by a card by Margaret Moody. I also used the CTMH Stitched Circles Thin Cuts for the flowers and the Stitched Ovals Thin Cuts for the leaves. I added Clear Sparkles for the flower centres.

For the final card I am sharing with you today, I used left over pieces of "rainbow" cardstock I had on my desk. The sentiment from D1713 - Be a Rainbow is stamped in Cranberry Ink and the clouds are stamped using Glacier Ink - the lighter cloud was second generation stamped. I then add Clear Shimmer Pen to the clouds.

And don't forget our Dad is Rad special that also finishes tomorrow - 30th June at 11.59pm AEST!

I love this stamp set! It is so versatile and can be used for more than just "Dad" projects!

Get yours today from my website!

And a reminder that due to new laws, GST of 10% will be added to all orders from 1st July! Since Close To My Heart came to Australia 5 years ago (I joined on day 1 on 1st July 2013), you and I have been able to place orders of less than $1000.00 GST free! That all changes on 1st July when new ATO laws are applied on all overseas purchases! This means that with the addition of 10% GST, all prices will increase by that 10%. The prices on my website do not include GST - this will be added at a later date. The GST will be added at the checkout! So if you want to beat this price rise, place your orders before 11.59pm AEST on 30th June.

Come back again soon and see what is NEW and what I have been creating.
