CTMH Happiest Place Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Happiest Place Australasian Blog Hop! If you arrived from Shaunna's blog, you are in the right place! If you arrived from elsewhere, I hope you will continue to hop around to see what the rest of the team has created using this beautiful Happiest Place Collection!

I have only had my collection for a few days, so haven't had much of a chance to create yet, but here are my first four projects!

My first layout was inspired by fellow consultant, Brenda Rose. I am still waiting to print photos from my daughter's birthday last month to add to the page! To create the layout, I used Black, Glacier & White Daisy cardstock; Happiest Place paper pack & stickers; Happiest Place Coordinating Cardstock' Z3714 - Hooray for Today Thin Cuts & Silver Glitter Gems. I used some 3D Foam Tape to add some dimension to the layout! I can't wait to add my photos!

For my first card, I made a slim-line card using Black, Candy Apple, Glacier, Lemonade & White Daisy cardstock, Happiest Day paper pack & the Happiest Place Digital Art Designs (for the balloons). I once again added some 3D Foam Tape for dimension behind the balloons.

For this very simple card, I used White Daisy & Black Cardstock, Z3714 - Hooray for Today Thin Cuts, CC7206 - Happiest Place Stamp & Thin Cuts, Candy Apple, Glacier & Lemonade ink pads with 3D Foam Tape behind the bigger stars.

The last project I want to share with you is one with pics of our gorgeous, but naughty, cat. The layout was inspired by one I created at the recent (in May this year) Close To My Heart Virtual Album Retreat. To create this layout, I used White Daisy, Black, Candy Apple, Glacier & Lemonade cardstock, Happiest Place Paper Pack, Happiest Place Coordinating Cardstock, CC7206 - Happiest Place Stamp & Thin Cuts, Black, Candy Apple, Glacier & Lemonade ink pads,  Silver Loose Sequins, Diamonds Stickles and Cricut Alphabet Circles font for the title.
The squares on the top and bottom of the page are 2.25" circles with a 1.5" square scored in the centre, then the edges of the circles folded over. I stamped in some of the circles, added printed paper in others, sequins in some and stickles in one. All sorts of embellishments could be added to the squares!

The Happiest Place collection is available till the end of August WSL. Contact your consultant today to order yours, or if you live in Australia and don't have a consultant, I would love to help you. You can find all the details for this collection and more on my website!

CTMH Summer Vibes Australasian Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Summer Vibes Australasian Blog Hop. If you arrived from Lauren's blog, you are on the right track. If not, I'm pleased you dropped by and hope you will continue on our blog hop.

To be honest, when I first saw this collection, I wasn't sure what I thought - it is the middle of winter here in South Australia and doesn't feel at all summery! But when I got my paper pack out, I realised the possibilities are endless.

For my first layout, I didn't use a lot of the Summer Vibes paper, but I did team it with the Mix In paper pack from the current catalogue! I love the colours together and they worked perfectly for my photos! My daughter, Ali, & I had a fabulous time on a coach tour to Yellowstone NP & beyond, last year. One of the many highlights was visiting this chapel in the middle of Grand Teton National Park. The chapel was built in 1916 before the area was declared a National Park in 1929.
To create my page, I used White Daisy, Glacier, Fern, Lemonade, Candy Apple & Black cardstock, Summer Vibes paper pack, Mix In paper pack (Jul-Aug 20), Happiest Place Digital Art Titles, Happiest Place Digital Art Designs & a 3" x 4" Flip Flap.

For the 2nd layout I am sharing with you today, the Summer Vibes paper pack and stickers was perfect. While on our trip, Ali enjoyed a White Water Rafting trip on the Gallatin River. I relaxed back at our accommodation while she had lots of fun on the river. The layout was created using just White Daisy cardstock and the Summer Vibes paper pack with stickers. I added some 3D Foam tape to add dimension to some of the stickers. And to get all the photos of this fabulous time in my album, I did add one of the Pocket Plus Protectors - Design 1 (fits up to 6" x 4" photos).

The Summer Vibes collection is available till the end of August (WSL) from your consultant, or if you live in Australia and don't already have a consultant, you can get your supplies from my website.

I would love you to leave a comment before you continue on the blog hop and see what Maz has created.

S2007 - For My Beautiful Friend CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our S2007 - For My Beautiful Friend CTMH Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog hop. If you arrived from Lauren's blog, you are in the right place. Or if you just popped in, I hope you will hop around and see what the other talented ladies have created.

I have been busy with other projects, but did have the chance to create 2 cards, so far, using this gorgeous stamp set.

For my first card, I used some paper from the NEW Mix In pack - now available - to cut an envelope using the Artfully Sent Cricut Collection. After colouring my flowers with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers - Pale Pink, Hydrangea, Citrus Yellow, Orange & Dull Green, I fussy cut around the bouquet then added it just inside the envelope. The background paper is from the NEW Summer Vibes paper pack. I added some Gold Embellishing Thread and White & Gold Ribbon to finish off my card.

For my second card, I used the same paper from the NEW Mix In paper pack for the background. One of the great features of the CTMH stamps is that they are flexible so can be bent. I cut a circle using the Basic Circles Thin Cuts, then curved the stamp onto the block before stamping in Black Memento ink. I coloured the flowers using the Peach Shimmer Brush & the leaves using the Evergreen Shimmer Brush. For the butterfly, I added strips of Peach, Wisteria & Mint Shimmer Brush to a piece of White Daisy cardstock, then when that had dried, I stamped the butterfly using Black Memento ink. I then fussy cut the butterfly and added it to the circle using 3D Foam tape. Added a Scallop Circle from Glacier cardstock behind my stamped circle & finished my card with Silver Embellishing Thread.

The July Stamp of the Month - S2007 For My Beautiful Friend is available during July for just $9.00 when you spend $80.00 with your consultant, or you can purchase the stamp set for $34.00 without a qualifying order. But make sure you get it this month before it goes!
