CTMH Australasian Blue Skies National Scrapbooking Month Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Australasian Blue Skies National Scrapbooking Day Blog Hop. If you arrived from Shaunna's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived by chance, then I am glad you popped in and hope you will continue to hop around to see what the other girls have created!

I have had lots of fun creating with this collection - these are only a few of those projects, but I hope you will be inspired!

For this first layout, I used the 'Easy Inspiration' pattern from the Cherish pattern book (also available from you consultant as a FREE Download - adapted to suit my photos, with  White Daisy cardstock, Blue Skies paper with stickers and Blue Skies coordinating cardstock, Gold Shimmer Trim, Thin 3D Foam Tape for dimension. It is the perfect paper collection for the photos of my trip to the US last year for the CTMH convention!

This next layout was created using White Daisy cardstock, Blue Skies paper and  Blue Skies coordinating cardstock, Z3722 - Here & There stamp & thin cuts, Z3715 - Aurora Cardmaking Workshop stamp & thin cuts, Black, Candy Apple, Green Apple, Lagoon, Lemonade & Sapphire ink pads. The border across the top of this layout was inspired by a technique shared by fellow consultant Shaunna Richards, using strips of paper adhered to a background piece at an angle, then cut to size. It is a great way of using up those left over pieces from a paper pack.

For this layout, I have used paper from a couple of different packs - Blue Skies and the NEW Stitched Together pack along with White Daisy & Candy Apple cardstock. The Pinwheel was cut using the Pinwheel Thin Cut that is a part of the Blue Skies collection. The smaller pinwheels were cut on the cricut.  The little stamped banners come from CC5202 - Beautiful Day Stamp & Thin Cuts set that is also a part of the Blue Skies collection.

All of my cards feature paper from the Blue Skies paper pack and the first and last ones also have some of the Blue Skies cardstock which has been treated on one side to give a shiny pattern.
For the first & second cards, I used the Pinwheel Thin Cuts and the sentiment is from one of my favourite stamp sets - D1283 - Say it in Style.

For this card, I used one of the Thin Cuts shapes from the Aurora Scrapbooking Stamp & Thin Cuts set - Z3711 to cut the diamonds. Then I placed them on a Candy Apple piece of cardstock, leaving a small gap between each one. I added a Cricut cut flower from my collection with some Silver Glitter Gems and Silver Shimmer Trim. The sentiment is from the May Stamp of the Month - S2005 - Time To Celebrate.

This final card was created using some of the left over strips of scraps from my page layout above. I used Candy Apple cardstock and some of the Candy Apple cardstock from the Blue Skies collection. The sentiment from C1835 - Sentiments & Stitches was stamped on a circle cut using the Stitched Circle Thin Cuts. I finished off the card with some Sapphire Crochet Thread.

CTMH Australasian Aurora Blog Hop

Hi & welcome to our CTMH Australasian Aurora Blog Hop. If you arrived from Maz's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived by accident I hope you will hop around and see what everyone has created with this fabulous collection!

This Aurora collection is perfect for capturing my memories of my trip to the USA last year with my daughter, Ali. I attended the CTMH convention just out of Salt Lake City at the beginning of our trip (after a couple of days in LA), then Ali & I joined a Trafalgar Tour to Yellowstone National Park and beyond! We had so much fun! On our first night of the tour, we enjoyed a Chuck Wagon Dinner and show! Well Ali became part of the show and 'married' a 'mountain man'! She was such a good sport, but I knew she was so embarrassed at the time. But it is something we still talk about today! (And she got a free tee shirt for being such a good sport).

Anyway, as you can see, Aurora is perfect for our memories! These 3 layouts are part of the creative projects that was available as a sneak peek of the new catalogue to consultants. I did make a mistake and used the light side of the Sage cardstock on the right page, but I think it looks ok! I love that the CTMH cardstock has the option of a lighter side to choose!

The first page was created using Sage, Peacock & White Daisy cardstock, Aurora paper pack with stickers with Thin 3D Foam Tape to add some dimension.

This second layout was created using Charcoal, Sapphire & White Daisy cardstock, Aurora paper pack with stickers with Thin 3D Foam Tape.

For this single page layout, I used Peacock cardstock - both sides - and some of the stickers from the Aurora paper pack.

The first three cards were also a part of the Launch event workshop, but I have changed the sentiments on them. They were created using White Daisy & Sapphire cardstock, with Aurora paper, Sapphire Shimmer pen & sentiments from stamps in my collection.

These next two cards were created using the FREE SVG file available from the CTMH Blog on 10th April, to say thank you to some of the many heroes in our community today. The images on the SVG file are designed to team with the Paper Pals Thin Cuts available from you CTMH consultant. I added paper from the Aurora pack along with a sentiment from the  C1835 - Sentiments & Stitches stamp set.

The Aurora collection is available from you CTMH consultant till the end of May (WSL). If you don't have a consultant and live in Australia, I would love to help you! You can contact me here
