I LOVE all the colours that are available in the CTMH cardstock range! There are 40 colours (well 80 if you take into consideration that each of those colours has a lighter shade on the back of the sheet) plus Black & White Daisy! And then we have ink pads to match!
The layout I created using only CTMH cardstock is a version of the heart page pictured above! To make this layout, I used White Daisy, Candy Apple, Tangerine, Canary, Sweet Leaf, Lagoon, Glacier, Thistle, Lilac, Ballerina, Raspberry cardstock, Z3705A - Let the Good Times Roll stamp & thin cuts set, D1925 - A Million Little Things stamp set (to add the ink 'splashes'), Candy Apple, Tangerine, Canary, Sweet Leaf, Lagoon, Glacier, Thistle, Lilac, Ballerina, Raspberry ink pads, silver Sequins, Stitched Circles Thin Cuts & Thin 3D Foam Tape to add a little dimension. My page is the start of my experience in Provo (Utah) last year for the last Close To My Heart consultant convention for now. I was fortunate to share the experience with several other Aussie consultants, particularly Kylie & Jan. And my daughter travelled to the US with me and we went on a tour to Yellowstone National Park and more after convention finished.
Of course, I have been making cards using some of the fabulous cardstock too. My first card was inspired by fellow consultant, Erin Jacobson & created using , Peach, Juniper (retired) & White Daisy cardstock, Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts, Z3658 - Yesterday & Today Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cuts, Z3642 - Shared Happiness stamp & thin cuts, Peach & Juniper ink (retired) pads with some 3D Foam Tape to add some dimension.
This card was also inspired by Erin Jacobson and was created using Bluebird, Lagoon, Glacier & White Daisy cardstock, C1837 - Birthday Banners stamp set, Intense Black & Sapphire ink pads, Spectrum Noir Tri-blend Markers, Sapphire Crochet Thread & Stitched Rectangles Thin Cuts.
For this next card, I used White Daisy & Ruby cardstock, Z3707 - Blossoming Friendship stamp & thin cuts, Intense Black ink pad, Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers, Mink Twine, Stitched Circles Thin Cuts, Stitched Rectangles Thin Cuts & 3D Foam Tape for dimension.
This card was inspired by another fellow consultant - Laura Beacham. I used White Daisy, Carolina, Glacier & Lagoon cardstock, C1837 - Birthday Banners stamp set, Celebrate Embossing Folder, Intense Black ink pad, Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers, White & Gold twine with 3D Foam Tape to create this one.
This very simple card was created by randomly stamping images on the White Daisy cardstock using Intense Black ink pad and colouring with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers. The images are from the C1837 - Birthday Banners stamp set & the sentiment is from A1244 - A Little Sentiment stamp set. I added some Lagoon cardstock to finish the card.
These four cards feature pinwheels cut using the NEW Pinwheel Thin Cuts that will be available from 1st May! It is lots of fun to use! I also used Glacier, Lemonade, Peach, Sangria & White Daisy cardstock, Silver Brads, Subway Tile Embossing Folder (retired), Stitched Circles Embossing Folder (retired), Celebrate Embossing Folder, Blue Burlap Ribbon (retired), White & Gold Ribbon, Black Shimmer Trim, Julep Velvet Ribbon, Silver Glitter Gems, C1805 - Craft With Heart Stamp Set, A1244 - A Little Sentiment Stamp Set, S2003E - Cherishing Her stamp set (retired), Black & Sapphire ink pads. I used 3D Foam Tape under the pinwheels. Watch out for more projects using this Thin Cut!
