Welcome to our S1809 - Just Treats Stamp of the Month Australasian Blog Hop! If you arrived from Lauren's blog, you are on the right track. If you arrived here by accident, then I hope you will hop around all the blogs to see what has been created using our September Stamp of the Month - Just Treats!
This stamp set is just perfect for cards for all occasions!
Sometimes when I look at a stamp set, I'm not sure how I will use it! This was one of those sets, but after looking at the artwork shared by CTMH in the Holiday Expressions and at some of my photos, I realised I could easily use this stamp set.
My page layout is inspired by the one on page 156 of the Holiday Expressions 2018 catalogue!
I used Boutique Paper with White Daisy Cardstock for the page base. I also wanted to try out the Texture Paste - which is new to CTMH in this catalogue. I cut a template using the Stencil Sheets and the Artbooking Cricut Collection. To colour my Texture Paste, I dabbed the Sapphire Ink Pad onto the All Purpose mat and added a small amount of Texture Paste and mixed till I got the amount of colour I wanted. I then used the template I had cut to add a small pattern on the two corners of my page! I love how it turned out!
Also on this page, I used S1809 - Just Treats Stamp set, Sapphire & Sugarplum & Carolina Ink Pads, along with Watercolour Pencils, Sugarplum Shimmer Brush, Silver Glitter Gems & Silver Embellishing Thread.

These two cards were created using NEW Candy Apple along with White Daisy Cardstock. I used the NEW Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder with Versamark Ink Pad for the titles from S1809 - Just Treats Stamp Set. I also used the Buffalo Plaid Embossing Folder (retired). The Poinsettia & Candy Canes are from the NEW C1737 - 'Tis the Season Stamp Set, stamped with the NEW Candy Apple Ink Pad. I added some shimmer to the Poinsettia using the Clear Shimmer Brush.
The September Stamp of the Month - S1809 - Just Treats is only available this month (September 2018)! ReplyDeleteYour layout is beautiful, the coloured texture paste is a lovely accent and your cards are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI love the story on your layout and the design is gorgeous too. Those coffee cups are perfect for your photo.
ReplyDeleteOh wow , this is fab.
ReplyDeleteI love the texture paste, I can't wait to play when my order arrives. I love your page celebrating having a cuppa, so nice.
ReplyDeleteI’m impressed, I need to say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s each educative and entertaining, and let me let you know, you've got hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the difficulty is something that not enough persons are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for one thing relating to this. casino games
