Jack Australasian Blog Hop

Today I would like to share with you some projects featuring the Close To My Heart Jack collection. It is a great "masculine" collection, but is suitable for all sorts of projects!

I love using Flip Flaps on my layouts to add the extra 1 or 2 or even more photos! Then I don't have to decide which pics not to use!

To create this double page I used:

Along with the fabulous paper pack there are complements and stamp sets with thin cuts. I love cute bear from the Jack Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cuts set! So I made a couple of cards using the bear!

Not BASHFUL at all!

The NEW colour of year is BASHFUL! It is a gorgeous shade of pink - suitable for so many projects! I've already shared some of my projects using this colour, but here are some cards I have created featuring BASHFUL. 

This card was  Inspired by card by Carol Longacre, and created using Whimsy Fundamentals Paper Pack, Bashful & White Daisy Cardstock, Gold Foil Paper, Flower Market Cricut Cartridge, Scallop Border Thin Cuts, Bashful Pearls, M1186 - Happy Birthday Stamp set, Pixie Ink Pad, Mini Glue Dots, Thin 3D Foam Dots

For this cute little tag, I used the NEW Basic Banner Thin Cuts and the NEW Tags Thin Cuts. The little bear comes from D1751 - Punny Pals Stamp Set - the NEW Operation Smile set from which $US7.00 from each set sold goes to Operation Smile!

This cute baby card was created using White Bulk Cards, Bashful Cardstock, Whisper Cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock, Z3376 - Sweet Baby Stamp & Thin Cuts Set, Hearts Border Thin Cuts, Basic Banner Thin Cuts, A1189 - Short & Sweet Stamp Set, Black & Pewter Ink Pads, White Twine, Thin 3D Foam Tape

For this card I was Inspired by card by Tina Adams, and created it using Bashful Cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock, Gold Foil Paper, Rose Embossing Folder, Z3384 - Beautiful You Stamp & Thin Cuts Set, Bashful, Blossom, Pixie, Mink & Heather Ink Pads, M1187 - Thinking of You stamp Set, Pixie Ink Pad, Thin 3D Foam Tape, Mini Glue Dots

These last two cards were created using the NEW You Are Here Cricut Cartridge using Bashful Cardstock and Silver Glitter paper.  The top one features the car cut and attached to a standard card. For the card the below I created a car shaped card - by welding two of the shape together.

The NEW Annual Inspirations catalogue features a number of NEW Thin Cuts Sets (and a couple carried through from the last Seasonal Expressions catalogue). To help show what is available, I created a page showing all that I have. My page was inspired by my dear friend and fellow consultant, Jacquie Paech.

More than Basic!

Have you had a chance to look at the fabulous NEW Annual Inspirations Catalogue yet? Do you have some favourites from it?

I love the NEW Colour of the Year - Bashful! It is a gorgeous shade of pink and it teams beautifully with the NEW Basics Fundamentals Paper Pack! So, I have been creating using these products!

This layout was inspired by my friend & fellow consultant, Jacquie and comes from the NEW Make It From Your Heart (MIFYH) Vol 3 Pattern Book (pattern #7).

 
This layout is also from the NEW MIFYH Vol 3 - pattern #34. To fit a couple of extra photos on the page, I used one of the Memory Protector Pocket Plus Design 2 Pockets.

Today I am sharing with you a creation which features Close To My Heart’s August Stamp of the Month - S1708 School Year. 

I didn't leave myself much time to create my project so I chose a quick page layout, using one of the patterns from the NEW "Make It From Your Heart" Vol 3 Pattern book! My page features my gorgeous girl on her first day of school - way back in 2005! She is in Year 11 now, so close to the end of her school days.
