Live Beautifully

National Scrapbooking month is almost over! There is only a week left to get your supplies!

These are another two pages I shared at my annual scrapbooking retreat this past weekend.

This layout was inspired by one on page 22 of the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalogue. I used Whisper, White Daisy, Sea Glass Cardstock, Live Beautifully Paper Pack, B1548 - Journaling Prompts Stamp Set, Sea Glass & Whisper Ink Pads.

This layout was inspired by one on the Close to My Heart FB page on 19th March. I used White Daisy Cardstock, Sea Glass Glitter Paper, Live Beautifully Paper Pack and the D1720 - Keep Dreaming Stamp Set with the Sea Glass Ink Pad.

All products used on these pages can be found on my website: http://doreenwatkins.closetomyheart.com.au/

Little Dreamer

One of the NEW collections in the NEW Seasonal Expressions 2 (2017) is the Little Dreamer Collection.

I have been busy preparing for my upcoming retreat in just over a week, but took some time out to create these two cards using the Little Dreamer Cardmaking Stamp & Thin Cuts set (Z3335).

I added Lemon & Blossom Cardstock, along with Sea Glass Glitter Paper for this card. The unicorn is stamped using Thistle, Glacier, Willow, Lemon & Blossom Ink Pads. I used the Basic Stars Thin Cuts to cut a stencil, then created the stars using Sponge Daubers with Blossom, Lemon & Glacier Ink Pads. The sentiment is stamped in Cocoa Ink.
I used the Basic Circles Thin Cuts to cut the circle for this card. Then, with Sponge Daubers, I created the circle background. I then dripped a few drops of water on the ink to get the spots. (This was inspired by a card by Jennifer Smith - fellow CTMH consultant). To create the "shaker" effect, I used a 3" x 3" Flip Flap and 3D Foam Tape.

Product used in these projects can be found on my website: www.doreenwatkins.closetomyheart.com.au

What's NEW in May?

There is so much happening in May! It is National Scrapbooking Month - so we have some beautiful EXCLUSIVE products available only this month WSL! Check out  what's available here
Check out these layouts I have created using the Live Beautifully collection! The first 3 layouts are from a workshop by fellow consultant, Karen Pederson.

For this layout, I used some of the paper left over from the Karen Pederson Workshop and added some cricut cut flowers (inspired by fellow consultant, Julie Carriere).

This layout was Pinterest inspired, using left over papers, with the addition of cardstock and Gold Glitter Dots.

The NEW May Stamp of the Month - Live, Laugh, Love is also now available.
I created the layout to share with fellow consultants at our regular meeting last month and the card is based on one shared by fellow consultant, Jacquie Paech.

And also NEW during May is the release of the Seasonal Expressions 2 with four new Paper Collections, along with coordinating stamp and thin cuts sets and much more! Check out what's new here!

Come back again soon and see what else is NEW and what I have been creating.
